The Montessori principles, teachings and values are genuinely one of a kind.<br>You can really see the passion and dedication behind everything they do, especially when you become a part of the centre and experience it for yourself. Our experience with Leppington Montessori Academy caused us to completely lose trust in the centre and its management.<br><br>When we arrived to collect our two-year-old son, we noticed he had been changed into different clothes. No educator approached us to explain why, and neither my wife nor I had received a phone call.<br><br>We only discovered that he had vomited because we asked our two-year-old what had happened. We then approached an educator, who told us that our son had put his fingers into his own mouth and caused himself to vomit while waiting for a nappy change.<br><br>We knew our child, and we did not believe that explanation.<br><br>We were also given different reasons for why nobody had contacted us, including that the centre had changed systems and did not have access to our contact details, and that staff had become too busy to call. Our son had vomited approximately an hour before we arrived, yet we had not been informed.<br><br>We repeatedly asked for the CCTV footage to be reviewed and requested to see what had actually happened. Rather than being transparent from the beginning, we encountered resistance and had to continue pushing through days of emails before we were eventually permitted to view the footage.<br><br>After we persisted, centre management confirmed that the educator’s original account—that our son had put his fingers into his mouth and caused himself to vomit—was incorrect.<br><br>In practical terms, we had been given false information about our two-year-old child. That false account was only corrected after we challenged it and insisted on seeing the objective evidence.<br><br>At our meeting, the incident report also could not initially be located. We were later told that a report had then been created and made available.<br><br>Had we simply accepted what the centre originally told us, we would have been left believing an account that management later confirmed was not true. I am extremely glad we continued pushing for the CCTV, because without it we would never have known that the information given to us was incorrect.<br><br>Our concern is not that a child vomited. Children become unwell. Our concern is that:<br><br>we were not told he had vomited;<br>no one contacted us;<br>we had to find out from our two-year-old;<br>an educator gave us an account that management later confirmed the educator lied to us;<br>the incident report could not initially be located; and<br>the correct information only emerged because we repeatedly pushed for the CCTV evidence.<br><br>Parents place enormous trust in childcare educators and management. When information concerning a young child is inaccurate, and parents must fight for objective evidence before it is corrected, that trust is destroyed.<br><br>Based on our experience, I would stay clear of this place.

I’m very disappointed with my experience at Leppington Montessori Academy. The attitude of some of the office staff is extremely rude and unwelcoming. They often don’t even say hello, and when you try to speak to them about your child, you feel like they are not listening or genuinely interested in your concerns.<br><br>In particular, I have found Kira, Hayley, and some other office staff to be very unpleasant and disrespectful. I have also witnessed what feels like a lack of respect towards teachers and parents.<br><br>The food and snack situation is another major concern. At the end of the day, children are sometimes given only two rice crackers each. When you ask for an extra snack for your child, you are refused. As parents, we pay a significant amount of money for our children to be cared for, and we expect them to be treated with respect and provided with appropriate food and care—not to feel like they are simply being given the bare minimum.<br><br>There have also been ongoing issues with my children’s belongings, including clothes and water bottles going missing. These things may seem small, but when they happen repeatedly, it becomes very frustrating.<br><br>I remember Jenny and some of the previous office staff and teachers much more positively. The difference in the level of communication, kindness, and respect is noticeable.<br><br>I sincerely hope the owner of the centre takes reviews like this seriously and looks into what is happening behind the scenes. I also hope the relevant authorities in the education and department of childcare consider looking into the concerns parents are raising.<br><br>Parents trust childcare centres with their most precious children. We deserve to feel listened to, respected, and confident that our children are being properly cared for, fed, and treated with kindness.

We’ve had such a positive experience so far with Leppington Montessori. As this is our son's first time attending preschool, I was quite nervous about how he would transition, but the educators have made the whole experience so easy and reassuring.<br><br>All of the staff are so friendly, welcoming and always happy to help with any questions. They have also been incredibly accommodating of any individual needs, which has given us so much peace of mind. Our son loves going to preschool and has formed such a lovely bond with his educators.<br><br>We also love that lunch is provided each day, so there’s no need to worry about packing a lunchbox! We’re so happy with our experience and the care our son receives.

All the staff have been so supportive and caring for my children. We are so happy with the warmth and professionalism. Thank you educators for helping us feel relaxed about placing our children in your care

So pleased and impressed with Montessori leppington as soon as you walk in you are met with many friendly faces welcoming you in! There is no request too little or too big they always do their best to make sure all parents are happy and kept in the loop my daughter loves all her educators they always make sure to comfort her when needed and have made her so confident building her social and academic skills would definitely recommend

I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to leppington Montessori Academy for the exceptional support and care provided to my son. The educators have played a crucial role in his development, particularly in managing his behavior. Before attending the academy, my son often screamed and frequently said “no” to everyone around him. However, thanks to the professional guidance and nurturing environment created by the educators, I have seen a remarkable transformation in him. He has become more respectful and is now able to express his feelings in a calmer manner. I truly appreciate the dedication and commitment of Miss Hayley and the staff in the classroom.
