Stimulating, safe and caring environment. Team of excellent teachers who each show a genuine consideration for each child's experience in learning, play and social interaction. I feel at ease leaving my child with the team as I feel confident they have their best interests at heart. You can see a lot of thought goes into all the activities, with teachers taking the time to carefully consider the needs of the group. Teachers provide dedicated reports back to parents on their children to let them know how they are progressing, in addition to the daily updates, which I think is lovely and reassuring. My child loves going here!

I have four children who have attended different kindergarten and I must say, this is by far my favorite. From the moment I first visited, I was impressed by how clean, organized, and well-maintained the space was. Most of the toys are high-quality wooden ones, there is a wide variety of interesting and engaging books here. The classrooms are beautifully decorated, with photos of all the families, creating a warm and welcoming environment. Most of the staff, including the teachers and office personnel, are women, and they are all lovely, kind, and always smiling. I also noticed how attentive they are—they regularly refill the children’s water bottles and reapply sunscreen, which I really appreciate. We moved to Brisbane a year ago, and despite the new city and new school, my son has never cried at school, not even once. It’s clear how much care and happiness he feels here. The school keeps parents well-informed, sending regular updates and photos so we always know how our children are doing and what they’re learning. The curriculum is rich, and during his interview for next year’s primary school, the new principal gave great feedback, saying that he’s fully prepared for prep. We are so grateful to all the teachers and staff here. If there’s one minor downside, it’s that due to specific reasons, they cannot provide meals, so we have to bring our own. However, this is not a major issue for us. Overall, this has been a wonderful experience, and we are thankful for everyone we’ve encountered here. Thank you!

AEC is truely exceptional and we are so glad that the centre was recommended to us when we first moved to Brisbane 2 years ago. From the moment we enrolled our daughter almost 2 years ago, we have been impressed by the warm, caring and highly skilled educators who create a nurturing environment everyday. The centre is always clean, well-organised and equipped with fantastic learning resources that keep the children engaged and excited to learn. Our daughter has progressed so wonderfully in their care and we are confident that she will easily transition to the expectations of school despite still being a year from this milestone. In our opinion, AEC is one of the best choices for childcare in Brisbane. Highly recommend for parents who want the best for their little ones.

About Ascot Early Childhood

Ascot Early Childhood is a boutique 49-place service set in a beautifully restored Queenslander opposite Oriel Park, and has been family-owned since 2004. Our three rooms take children from their toddler years through to our government-approved Kindergarten program. We are deliberately small, so every child is known, every family is greeted by name, and every day feels like an extension of home.

Learning here is unhurried, play-based and child-led. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline, our living curriculum follows each child's interests, strengths and stage of development through art, music, nature, construction and the everyday rituals of being together. Timber floors, natural light and French doors opening onto verandas, decks and leafy shaded gardens invite children to move freely between indoor and outdoor discovery throughout the day.

We are proud to be rated Exceeding the National Quality Standard, and we know that rating reflects the educators at the heart of our service. Our educators are paid above award rates, and we invest in their ongoing professional development, so the familiar faces your child comes to love are experienced, passionate and here to stay.

For more than twenty years, Ascot families have trusted us with their children's earliest years of learning. We would be delighted to welcome yours.
