Stimulating, safe and caring environment. Team of excellent teachers who each show a genuine consideration for each child's experience in learning, play and social interaction. I feel at ease leaving my child with the team as I feel confident they have their best interests at heart. You can see a lot of thought goes into all the activities, with teachers taking the time to carefully consider the needs of the group. Teachers provide dedicated reports back to parents on their children to let them know how they are progressing, in addition to the daily updates, which I think is lovely and reassuring. My child loves going here!

I have four children who have attended different kindergarten and I must say, this is by far my favorite. From the moment I first visited, I was impressed by how clean, organized, and well-maintained the space was. Most of the toys are high-quality wooden ones, there is a wide variety of interesting and engaging books here. The classrooms are beautifully decorated, with photos of all the families, creating a warm and welcoming environment. Most of the staff, including the teachers and office personnel, are women, and they are all lovely, kind, and always smiling. I also noticed how attentive they are—they regularly refill the children’s water bottles and reapply sunscreen, which I really appreciate. We moved to Brisbane a year ago, and despite the new city and new school, my son has never cried at school, not even once. It’s clear how much care and happiness he feels here. The school keeps parents well-informed, sending regular updates and photos so we always know how our children are doing and what they’re learning. The curriculum is rich, and during his interview for next year’s primary school, the new principal gave great feedback, saying that he’s fully prepared for prep. We are so grateful to all the teachers and staff here. If there’s one minor downside, it’s that due to specific reasons, they cannot provide meals, so we have to bring our own. However, this is not a major issue for us. Overall, this has been a wonderful experience, and we are thankful for everyone we’ve encountered here. Thank you!

AEC is truely exceptional and we are so glad that the centre was recommended to us when we first moved to Brisbane 2 years ago. From the moment we enrolled our daughter almost 2 years ago, we have been impressed by the warm, caring and highly skilled educators who create a nurturing environment everyday. The centre is always clean, well-organised and equipped with fantastic learning resources that keep the children engaged and excited to learn. Our daughter has progressed so wonderfully in their care and we are confident that she will easily transition to the expectations of school despite still being a year from this milestone. In our opinion, AEC is one of the best choices for childcare in Brisbane. Highly recommend for parents who want the best for their little ones.

I enrolled my son at Ascot Early Childhood for 2 days a week a few months ago , unfortunately, after few sessions, his enrollment was cancelled without any prior notice. The stated reason was that I had not responded to an email regarding payment , despite my authorization for direct debit . No one reached out to discuss the delayed payment. And I assumed the email I received was simply for my information, given that I had already signed up for direct debit. The facility did mot utilize other available communication methods that were provided upon enrolement. This lack of communication caused significant distress for my son and our entire family, as we were forced to find alternative childcare. I do mot recommend this child care / lack of communication is the biggest issue . .

About Ascot Early Childhood

Welcome to Ascot Early Childhood, where children feel a true sense of belonging. For over twenty years, we have supported families in the Ascot and Hamilton communities, providing high-quality care and education in the warm environment of a beautifully maintained Queenslander home. Families often describe our centre as a second home, and we invite you to see what makes it so special. Our centre is designed to feel welcoming rather than institutional. The light-filled Queenslander includes verandas and leafy gardens that encourage exploration. Every space, from quiet reading nooks to outdoor play areas, has been carefully created to inspire curiosity, creativity and joyful learning.

As a boutique 49-place service, we keep class sizes small so educators can build strong connections with every child. Our Toddler room (15 months–2.5 years) is nurturing and focused on independence, language and social skills. The Pre-Kindy room (2.5–3.5 years) is dynamic and encourages investigation, problem-solving and friendships. Our government-approved Kindergarten program (4–5 years) is led by three educators, providing an exceptionally high ratio and preparing children holistically for school.

Our philosophy is based on a “living curriculum” that grows from children’s ideas and interests. Educators listen and document play to co-construct meaningful experiences, guided by the EYLF V2.0 and QKLG. We emphasise independence, early literacy and numeracy, critical thinking, wellbeing and a love of learning. Our educators are the heart of Ascot Early Childhood. With low turnover and many long-standing staff, families value the stability this provides. All hold recognised qualifications and current first aid, but above all, they are chosen for their warmth, professionalism and genuine ability to make every child feel safe, known and valued.
