We have used a few childcare centres and none have been as great as this one. The educators are encouraged to develop their skills and seem happy to be at work. Daily photos and reports on what the children have been up to are provided, along with details of what they ate, how long they slept, etc. There's a real community feel with extra-curricular activities involving parents. The environment is great for kids with natural toys, water play and bare feet. Creativity and curiosity is nurtured and teaching springs from the children's interests. Safety is taken seriously, also. The care provided at this centre is top notch and the communication and connection with parents/careers is lovely.

We have been sending our daughter to this centre for 18 months and am continuously impressed by the level of care, education and the friendships and bonds she has made with the team, which is led by the fabulous director, Kristen. The day has just a right balance of play and structure and our daughter always comes home happy and with lots of stories to share. They say if you’re looking at a childcare centre, focus on the people, as toddlers don’t care as much about mod-cons (even though this centre is very modern) as much as they do about who will cuddle them when they’re upset and who will cheer for them when they hit a new milestone. Thank you for taking great care of our daughter, and congratulations on being one of the best centres in the area.

This is a wonderful centre filled with many great educators. The management team do a fantastic job of running the centre and keeping parents informed. My 5 y/o has just graduated from kindergarten, and they went above and beyond to make her graduation such a special occasion. From the educators such as Vicki, Paddy and Janice to the team on the desk Kristen, Brodie and Danielle, to Voula the amazing chef, everyone is kind-hearted and does a wonderful job at making both the parents and children feel secure in the care they are receiving. Great work team.

Goodstart Bentleigh McKinnon is a fantastic childcare centre! Kristen and the team have been like a second family to my girls and provide high level of care and education. The near new facility is well designed and clean with awesome outdoor areas. I would (and do) recommend to anyone. My girls started under 12mths and can't thank the team enough for helping and sharing with us all their milestones 🤗

This centre is wonderful in every way. It has a real community feel with regular celebration of family events such as grandparents day. They meticulously communicate children's progress on story Park every day. Very open to suggestions and feedback from parents. Very culturally inclusive. The food is nutritious and wonderful. The educators my daughters have had have been experienced and caring. I honestly can't fault this centre!

Amazing staff, outstanding support, and lots of activities for kids including incursions. I love the way how they write stories for individual students on Storypark and make them special. They keep the parents updated with what's going on during the day and I always look forward to reading it.

Goodstart Bentleigh East McKinnon Road has been such a wonderful, positive experience for my toddler, who is going there for almost a year now. The centre, having such an amazing staff with smile on their faces, makes one feel so welcoming. Rooms and grounds are very clean and above all the educators are fabulous trying to find new ways to educate and keep the kids engaged and making them learn new things. As a parent I would highly recommend this centre.

The best childcare around. I love how the staff really enjoy their jobs and get to know each child and their family. I've had children attending with Goodstart for over 8 years and I couldn't recommend them more highly. Personable, friendly and welcoming

The team at Goodstart Bentleigh East McKinnon Road are absolutely amazing. My son spent 5 years with this team from when he started at Goodstart Carnegie and moved to the new centre at Bentleigh East when it opened. The whole team do such an amazing job at providing a positive, welcoming and encouraging environment so the kids can flourish and grow. The care and support also shown to me and my husband was just outstanding. Highly recommended this centre.

I visited 8 child centres within the area when making a decision as to where our little one should attend. Given he was going to be under one when he started I really wanted to make sure it ticked as many boxes as possible. Goodstart Early Learning exceeded in nearly everyone of those boxes; clean, bright, friendly / helpful staff, off a main road, safe, underground car parking, a seperate sleeping room for the babies & a great yet challenging syllabus. We started a few weeks ago and I am over the moon with our decision. The educators are incredible (the top of my list requirement which I found to be the hardest aspect to deeply gauge during a tour!) they are kind, caring and passionate about their jobs. We receive daily updates of their activities with photos and a full breakdown of their routine for that day. Our little one loves going to daycare which makes the toughest part of our day (the drop off!) just that little bit easier.
