We couldn’t have asked for a better start to our kid’s childcare journey. It has been such a relief knowing that we can leave him at childcare with complete confidence, knowing he is genuinely cared for, supported and loved without us having to constantly advocate for him.<br><br>Kim and Aida are both so lovely, kind and caring, and it is clear how much they genuinely care about the children. Our child has grown so much in confidence, kindness and independence, and it has been wonderful to see him feel safe, happy and comfortable in their care. He looks forward to showing his toys and construction to Aida each day.<br><br>Brody was amazing in helping us enrol seamlessly, working around our dates and personal circumstances while being so understanding and supportive at every step and not pushy.<br><br>Anne, incredibly welcoming and warm, and does such a wonderful job of keeping the team together and creating such a positive environment for everyone!<br><br>As parents, there is no greater feeling than knowing your child is happy, enjoys going each day and is surrounded by people who are so lovely. We are so grateful to the whole team for everything they do and for making our kid’s childcare experience such a positive one.

I cannot talk highly enough of the team at the centre. They are always friendly and helpful. My child has attended for 4 years and has made such good friendships.

We have had our two sons attending this centre for almost 3 years now, and we couldn’t be happier. All the staff are compassionate and welcoming, the facility is clean and bright and communications between the educators and admin to us as parents is easy. I genuinely feel like the staff go above and beyond to help the kids (and families) transition through so many changes that you go through in the early years. I have immense respect and gratitude to the team, especially Brodie who is a beacon of joy and stability for many of us!

Our daughter started at Goodstart E.Bentleigh when she was 7 months old, all the educators and staff are beyond amazing. Our daughter is nearly 3 and is absolutely thriving here, some days she doesn’t want to leave when I pick her up.<br><br>I can’t recommend this centre highly enough, our daughter is in an extremely safe place which puts our mind at ease.<br><br>So Thankyou to all the staff for not only looking after our precious girl, but always checking in on us and always up for a chat 😊

We’ve had such an incredible experience at Goodstart Bentleigh East on McKinnon Road. My daughter started here in the nursery room and is now in Kinder 3, and I honestly couldn’t recommend the centre more highly.<br><br>Having experienced daycare with my now 13yr old son and a daycare prior to GBEMR, I feel it’s important to provide positive feedback/review when warranted. Without question, Goodstart has been exceptional from the moment we first walked through the doors.<br><br>One of the things that has stood out the most was the support we received when my daughter was having difficulties with food. The kindness, patience and genuine care from the team went far beyond anything I expected. They made us feel supported every step of the way, and it meant so much to our family.<br><br>My daughter absolutely loves going to daycare. She adores her educators, and the fact that she insisted on inviting them to her birthday party says everything about the relationships they’ve built with her. At three years old, that’s the highest honour she could give!<br><br>Every morning we’re greeted so warmly by Brody, who is so much more than a receptionist. She remembers everyone, always has a smile on her face, and creates such a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in.<br><br>The communication with families has always been fantastic. The team are transparent, caring, professional and genuinely invested in every child. You can see how much they love what they do, and it shows in the happy, nurturing environment they’ve created.<br><br>Choosing a daycare is such a big decision as a parent, and I feel incredibly grateful that we found Goodstart East Bentleigh, McKinnon Road. Thank you to the entire team for everything you do. You’ve made such a positive impact on my daughter’s early years, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place for her to grow and learn.

’m extremely disappointed with this childcare centre and the way it is managed. My experience with the director left me feeling misled and very uncomfortable. Communication was inconsistent, and at times what we were told didn’t align with what was actually happening. As a parent, trust is everything, and unfortunately that trust just isn’t there for me. The overall environment and interactions with staff did not give me confidence or peace of mind when it comes to the care of children. I would not feel comfortable leaving my child here, and I cannot recommend this centre to other families looking for a safe, reliable place.

We have used a few childcare centres and none have been as great as this one. The educators are encouraged to develop their skills and seem happy to be at work. Daily photos and reports on what the children have been up to are provided, along with details of what they ate, how long they slept, etc. There's a real community feel with extra-curricular activities involving parents. The environment is great for kids with natural toys, water play and bare feet. Creativity and curiosity is nurtured and teaching springs from the children's interests. Safety is taken seriously, also. The care provided at this centre is top notch and the communication and connection with parents/careers is lovely.

We have been sending our daughter to this centre for 18 months and am continuously impressed by the level of care, education and the friendships and bonds she has made with the team, which is led by the fabulous director, Kristen. The day has just a right balance of play and structure and our daughter always comes home happy and with lots of stories to share. They say if you’re looking at a childcare centre, focus on the people, as toddlers don’t care as much about mod-cons (even though this centre is very modern) as much as they do about who will cuddle them when they’re upset and who will cheer for them when they hit a new milestone. Thank you for taking great care of our daughter, and congratulations on being one of the best centres in the area.

This is a wonderful centre filled with many great educators. The management team do a fantastic job of running the centre and keeping parents informed. My 5 y/o has just graduated from kindergarten, and they went above and beyond to make her graduation such a special occasion. From the educators such as Vicki, Paddy and Janice to the team on the desk Kristen, Brodie and Danielle, to Voula the amazing chef, everyone is kind-hearted and does a wonderful job at making both the parents and children feel secure in the care they are receiving. Great work team.
