About Ashfield Early Learning Centre

Ashfield Early Learning Centre provides enriching care and learning programs for children up to 6 years old. The skilled and committed team recognise that the first five years are the most critical period of a child’s life. Educators embrace each child’s uniqueness to help them develop a positive sense of self and community.

Centre spaces are warm and nurturing, to ensure children feel safe, secure and valued. Interiors are bright and homely, with colourful furniture, art on the walls, and a rich array of toys, books and games. In line with the play-based learning approach, children have free time to pursue their interests, building important cognitive, social and motor skills through play.

The centre has an inviting outdoor space with wide lawns, vegetable gardens, bike paths, sand pits and age-appropriate equipment including a mini trampoline and climbing frames. Educators present stimulating outdoor activities as part of the Get Moving program, designed to support physical and gross motor development.

The centre is situated in a residential street in Sydnehy’s Inner West, convenient to bus and train routes. Why not book a tour of this welcoming and homely centre today?

We could not recommend Ashfield Early Learning more highly! From the moment we joined, we felt welcomed into not just a centre, but a genuine community. The educators are warm, caring, and attachment-focused, creating a safe and nurturing environment where children truly thrive. The activities are thoughtful, engaging, and designed to spark curiosity and joy. We’ve loved seeing our child grow in confidence and creativity through the wonderful experiences provided every day. The centre is always spotless and beautifully maintained, which gives us so much reassurance. The meals were nutritious and varied. One of the things we really valued is the regular updates and open communication — it really helps us feel connected to our child’s learning journey. The educators also go above and beyond to make sure families feel included, with regular community events such as Christmas celebrations, Mother’s and Father’s Day gatherings, and many other special occasions that make everyone feel part of something bigger. Ashfield Early Learning is so much more than childcare — it’s a place where children and families are supported, celebrated, and truly cared for. We are so grateful to be part of it!

I completed my placement at Ashfield Early Learning Centre and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From day one, I was welcomed by a warm, supportive, and professional team who made me feel part of the family. The educators here are incredibly dedicated and kind — they not only care deeply for the children but also support student learning and growth. The atmosphere is always positive and nurturing, which helps both children and staff feel happy and comfortable. Spending 30 days here confirmed for me that early childhood education is the career I want to pursue. I'm truly grateful to have had the chance to learn in such an inspiring and encouraging environment. Whether you’re a family looking for quality care or a student seeking a meaningful placement, I highly recommend Ashfield Early Learning Centre.
