We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Brookes Street Early Education. As new parents it was daunting to navigate the many daycares in the area and we are so grateful to have found Brooke’s St. The standard of care is truly exceptional and It has been so reassuring to know our little one is in such a safe, nurturing environment during the day. The staff are all very experienced, incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely care for each individual, making every family feel valued. The variety of fun and engaging activities keeps the children excited to learn and explore each day. We highly recommend Brookes Street Early Education to any family looking for a smaller boutique early learning centre that’s is genuine, supportive, and of the highest quality.

We recently finished our journey with Brook Street Early Education, and I can’t recommend this centre highly enough. My son attended from the age of 2 until 5, and throughout those years the care, love, and dedication shown to him have been exceptional. The educators are incredibly kind, nurturing, and genuinely care about each child as an individual. My son felt safe, supported and happy and as a parent, that peace of mind is priceless. I had viewed many daycares before choosing Brook Street. I had high standards when it came to care, environment and values and this centre met and exceeded all of them. The staff are professional yet warm, the environment is welcoming, and the relationships they build with both children and parents are so special. We’re very grateful for the role Brook Street has played in my son’s early years and for the strong foundation they’ve helped build for his next chapter. Thank you to the entire team for everything you do. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Our son and daughter went to Brookes Street Early Education from infancy (8-10 months old) and absolutely loved it. Not only were they happy to go, it was a place where we were so comfortable with the staff, the facilities and how it was run... where staff really spoke to us and felt like family away from family. Such a beautiful and caring centre, I was in the neighbourhood yesterday and popped in just to say hi and found most of the staff were the same and ones there from near 6 years ago. Such a great, safe and caring feel with plenty of fun and learning for the kids - and incredible parent and family communication and engagement. We can't recommend highly enough!

This is a wonderful daycare and Kindy, both of our children have benefited from 6+ years in this learning environment. There are daycares and then there is Brookes St, the standards here are second to none. We would recommend them, the leadership team and the teachers without hestitation. If you can get a spot for your child I'd snap it up! :-)

We have had a wonderful experience at Brooke’s Street Early Education Centre. My daughter has been attending here and has made what I truly believe will be lifetime friendships. The educators are incredibly caring, patient, and attentive, and they create a safe, nurturing environment where children feel happy and confident. The centre focuses not just on learning, but on social development, kindness, and emotional growth, which really shows in the children. Communication with parents has always been clear and supportive, and it’s comforting to know my child is genuinely cared for each day. We are very grateful to the entire team at Brooke’s Street and would highly recommend this centre to any family looking for a warm, welcoming, and high-quality early education environment.

Our family has been part of this childcare centre for more than six years; with both of our children starting here as babies; our daughter at six months and our son at eight months. They both stayed right through until they began school. From the very beginning, the educators (past and present) have shown genuine care, warmth, and professionalism. It has always been clear how dedicated they are to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for every child. When our babies first started in the nursery, the thoughtful communication from the educators meant the world to us. We received regular updates throughout the day about how they were settling, their eating and sleep routines, even how they were feeling after drop-off. The educators adapted to our home routines and made sure we felt involved and supported. As a parent transitioning back to full-time work at multiple places, this level of care truly eased my mind. We briefly moved our son to another centre for convenience around pick ups when our daughter started prep, but the difference in care and overall experience was immediately noticeable. Even something as hands-on as toilet training/no nappies highlighted this - other centre struggled to support him through the process even though we mentioned many times he was truly ready as he was not in nappies at home. When we returned here, the educators worked with him patiently and consistently, and he was fully toilet trained within just four days/2 weeks of being back! Returning to this centre was the best decision and we’re so grateful they were able to find more days for us again. We’ve truly never experienced this level of attention, communication, and dedication anywhere else. Especially for our son as he has been to 2 other centres before - at nursery and toddler ages. There are also so many beautiful extras that make this place special. Each year, the children participate in the centre’s Gallery of Modern Art, where their artwork is showcased; something our family looks forward to every year. The centre also organises thoughtful celebrations for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Grandparents’ Day, NAIDOC Week, and more. Older children enjoy bush kindy offsite, excursions to local schools, and a variety of engaging incursions like mindfulness sessions, police visits, recycling hero visit, music and sports classes, and many other enriching experiences. We recommend this centre wholeheartedly to any family looking for childcare they can trust and feel at peace with. The educators have been such an important part of our children’s early years, giving them a strong, loving start that we will always be grateful for. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better start for our children. Thank you for taking great care for both of our children. They say it takes a village to raise a child and Brookes Street Early Education has truly been part of our village.

Both of my children have been at Brookes Street Early Education for the past five years, it’s hard to put into words just how much this centre has meant to our family. Every teacher we’ve encountered has been caring, attentive and genuinely invested in the children. You can feel the love in the room, it’s the kind of environment you hope for but don’t always find. We’ve been consistently impressed with everything: the quality of care, the thoughtful learning experiences, the nourishing food, and the way the team supports each child as an individual. It’s rare to have five years of nothing but positive experiences, but that’s exactly what we’ve had. Brookes Street has been a beautiful part of our lives, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

This Centre is amazing. The educators are all beautiful and genuinely love the children they look after. They have a very low turn over of staff. The space is bright, clean and has really lovely feeling to it. I feel so lucky that my children attend this daycare and Kindy.

Our daughter attended BSEE 5 days a week for 2 years and was one of the youngest children to ever attend BSEE, commencing at 5 months of age. After much consideration, we have recently moved her to another provider which has far exceeded the quality of education that was being provided at BSEE. Our main concerns were: 1. The owners ignore feeedback/concerns from multiple families and simply say “there’s a wait list” and don’t seem to care. 2. They don’t invest in their staff with a very high turn over of quality staff. We have noticed a decline in service levels (as have other families). 3. Language barriers with staff. 4. Not being informed of incidents in a timely manner. 5. Poor communication from educators. We spoke to the lead educator in our daughters room about not using a dummy. The educator failed to tell the other educators in her room with our daughter using a random Dummy. 6. We brought our daughter home and noticed a smell one day. She was in a soiled nappy that had been on for hours according to Storypark. 7. We have provided multiple feedback to management over the years on various concerns, but no decisive action was taken. The centre looks lovely/bougie, but that’s about it. Parking is a nightmare with staff often taking up some of the parks ahead of parents. Access is impossible (there is one narrow entry that is steps only - not fun or practical with little ones/forget using a pram) and there is no undercover protection to access the building on wet/stormy days. Although this centre rates as “exceeds” under the National Quality Framework there are two key areas where they are just “meeting” 1. Childs health and safety; and 2. Governance and Leadership. Both of these qualities are extremely important to us and are reflective of the issues that we have experienced with the centre over the last two years. It’s such a pity that such a wonderful daycare has gone backwards over the past two years, losing amazing educators and families who have all left due to the poor standards and complacency. Reputation is everything.
