Hi my name is Rowena,
I've been doing family daycare for 24 years, since my own daughter was a one year old. I have one beautiful daughter Jess and I am the lucky nanna of two gorgeous grandchildren.
I have a Diploma in children's services, current WWCC and I have my full First Aid Certificate that I keep updated yearly.
Here at Rowena's Family Daycare we follow the children's interests, learning through play. We love to cook and bake, spend time in the garden, visit the library and attend the social activities that they offer, play in the park nearby and we like to visit other educators.
I always offer the children a variety of crafts, cutting, play dough, painting, science experiments, dancing and singing. These and more, are all a part of the magical and regular routine at Rowena's Family Daycare.
I am proud and passionate about what I do and I greatly value quality time spent with the children, in a welcoming home setting. I will be doing family day care for many more years to come.
I also do individual learning portfolios that you get to take home at the end of the year - one of the many highlights for the children in my care.
