We cannot recommend Beauty highly enough. She has cared for our child over the last 3 years (from aged 10 months) with great care and love, and supporting their development every step of the way. Beauty is a highly experienced educator who teaches the children as well as providing them with an environment in which they feel safe and happy, able to play and have fun, and learn to get along. The Bee Hives family day care is really like a family, with strong bonds between all the kids. Beauty is patient, caring, fun, and gently guides the children with amazing attention to their individual personalities and needs. We feel very lucky to have found her!

Our 3 year old son has been attending Beauty’s for 15 months. It was his first experience at daycare, and we had recently relocated back to Australia from the US. Beauty’s was the perfect place to help our son settle after these big changes. Beauty pays close attention to every kids’ needs and development. She treats the kids like one of her own family, but also is clear and kind on boundaries and expectations for behaviour. She gently teaches the kids appropriate socialisation and interaction skills while being cognisant of their developmental capabilities. Our son had some language delays and, with Beuaty’s guidance and encouragement, he is now like a tap we can’t turn off! He’s now able to express his thoughts, feelings and perspectives on his world, and we put a lot of that down to Beauty’s patience and attentiveness to his needs. Beauty also paid close attention to our son’s recent interests and tailored teaching plans to incorporate these topics (a day learning all the Sydney metro stations in order was an amusing example of this). The size of the group is small, which means the kids always feel seen and have her constant visibility and attention. The size also makes it possible for the kids to do fun excursions like walks to the park and trips to the cafe to help build independence. It’s quite incredible how much he has flourished in her care, and the confidence Beauty has cultivated. Everyday our son comes home rattling off all of the amazing adventures they’ve had together. We also cherish the photos and videos she sends at the end of each week. Beauty has put so much care and attention into the physical space for the kids - it is safe, engaging, and gives them so much room to run around. Even on wet days there is plenty for the kids to do. Our son has loved meditation, yoga, music, dance, painting, climbing, jumping, and gardening, to name a few activities. We are incredibly sad to be leaving as we have moved out of the area. Beauty cared for my daughter a few days a week, from 18 months old to 4 years. From the very first day I felt completely at ease leaving her in Beauty’s home. Beauty has authority combined with fun and real warmth. To me, she always seems in control and also, really happy in the company of the children. My daughter has flourished there. She has learned so much through projects, craft and the many activities that Beauty organised in response to my daughter’s interests. But above all, I have been so impressed with the social skills she has learned: empathy, sharing, resilience and simply making really good friendships. My daughter has always been physically strong and active. At Beauty’s she has been able to really let go, with lots of outdoor play and enough freedom to to find her limits in a safe space. I highly recommend Beauty’s day care.

We have absolutely loved sending our boys to Beauty's family day care. For the last four years Beauty has looked after the boys with such a caring nature. Her experience in early education is evident as she adapts to the needs of each child. She has organised all sorts of projects for the kids - from teaching them about recycling, to science experiments, craft and just good old fashioned outdoor exploration and play. Our kids have loved going to Beauty's daycare, I would not even hesitate to recommend this wonderful daycare!

Beauty looked after our little boy from 11 months old until he was almost four and-a-half years old. While it was naturally hard leaving our first-born in childcare for the first time, Beauty put our minds at ease with her caring and nurturing approach and she and our son developed a close bond from very early on, which has grown stronger over the past few years. Our son was always very comfortable and happy to go to Beauty’s house where he would be greeted with a big smile, warm hug and a day of fun activities planned. Our son has developed and learnt so much during his time at Bee’s family daycare and has grown into a confident, caring and well-mannered little boy – much of this is attributed to Beauty’s caring and fair approach. Beauty’s house is really dedicated to the children’s learning experience, with lots of toys and activities set up, while also offering a homely environment and the freedom for kids to run around in the backyard, get dirty and have fun through imaginative play. She also plans regular outings to the nearby park and library. We could not recommend Bee’s family daycare highly enough and our son misses Beauty dearly. The small size of the group meant that Beauty really felt like an extended part of our family. We are sad to be leaving and we will definitely stay in touch.
