Our learning areas form the foundation of our curriculum and are designed to support our educators in developing an effective learning environment. We want to provide a range of learning opportunities to enhance children’s learning in all age groups, both indoors and outdoors.
We believe that nutrition plays a vital role in looking after our children’s wellbeing. Our menus are created and assessed through Nutrition Australia, in line with National Quality Standards and the Australian Dietary Guidelines.
We have our own in-house professional chef, who is adept at creating well balanced meals that cater to a range of tastes, allergies, intolerances and eating styles!
Our dedicated teachers are highly educated and experienced professionals. They are committed to providing programs that are at a high level and that guide your child into school readiness.
As a first time mum I was very nervous about sending my son to childcare but at mayfield they are so inviting and reassuring from the moment you step in the door! I could not be more comfortable and confident in leaving my boy there.
My son has been attending Mayfield for a few years now and will be entering into the 4 year old kinder next year and we are so excited to watch his journey. The centre have been fantastic with his development needs and helping us with working through his emotions and behaviours in a positive and supportive way. The director and assistant director are always so friendly and helpful with anything we need and always respond to emails or phone calls in a timely and friendly manner.
No matter what staff member I deal with they are always warm and welcoming and willing to help with any questions I have. I cannot recommend Mayfield enough they are outstanding 🙂🙂🙂🙂

The childcare is amazing and have a wonderful staff and a caring atmosphere. My two and a half year old son is enjoying to go to childcare. From the beginning itself the staff have been very supportive towards the child’s development and taken care of a smooth transition from safari to Aspen and then to Windmill currently. The current staff at windmill are also very friendly and caring towards my son. My son even enjoys cooking with Holly a lot and wants to go all 5 days whereas he goes 3 days a week. The management team is also very cooperative and helpful with a spontaneous reply to my queries. I am very grateful for the staff for their support and care.

My daughter started at Mayfield very apprehensive and teary due to being away from Mummy for the first time - but now loves it! Sandra and her team have been so wonderful helping her settle in, and she has built such strong relationships with her Educators and the other children. The service is beautiful, and you feel welcome the minute you walk in. I can't recommend enough. Thankyou for everything!
