We started our son at DEDK almost 3 years ago. They have a large play yard which was important as our son needed lots of space to run around. Since then we've had no regrets and he has made many special connections with staff members and other children. Highly recommended!

I completed my placement as a student at this centre in Jan 2026 and had such a wonderful experience. The educators were incredibly kind, supportive and genuinely loving and caring towards the children. It was my first time working with this age group (baby’s room), so I was quite nervous going into the placement, but the team made me feel very welcome from day one. I learned so much during my time here and really appreciated how encouraging and supportive my mentor was throughout my placement. I got to be with the most adorable bunch of children during my time there and I still miss them to this day! 🥹 You can really see how much the educators care about the children and the environment they create for them. I’ll always remember my time here very fondly ❤️ Thank you to the team for such a lovely experience.

As a parent, I feel it is important to share my honest experience with this childcare centre so other families can make informed decisions. My child has been attending childcare since she was 7 months old and is very familiar with childcare environments. Six months ago, we had to change centres due to moving suburbs. Unfortunately, our experience with this centre has been extremely disappointing and concerning.Rather than focusing on nurturing, education, and supporting children’s emotional development, the environment often feels overly strict and focused on controlling behaviour. Instead of guiding children with patience and understanding, it sometimes feels as if certain children are being targeted or singled out for their behaviour.Early childhood education should be about creating a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment where children feel respected and encouraged to grow. Sadly, this has not been our experience here. I strongly encourage the management to read this review very carefully. Based on the email communications I have received from this centre, I will also be lodging a formal complaint with the Victorian Department of Education so this situation can be properly reviewed.

Sending a child to a daycare could be a hard decision. But never had any worried while our son was going to DEDK. He was happy to go to childcare and made great friends and continues to maintain some of those friendships. It has been over a year since he left childcare and still keeps reminding about the educators and friends. Very highly recommend.

Did my placement here as a uni student and it was an amazing experience. You can tell all the educators and teachers love the children here like their own. Amazing school 👍

Dedk provide my baby a very warm and comfortable environment. All the educators and directors are lovely and helpful. They could talk with me a lot for my baby’s situation since I come into the kinder for pick up everyday, which means they really love and take a great care for children. They also support different kinds of activities and games. I could feel that the children really enjoy it. Overall, Thank you so much for all the teachers.

We had a wonderful experience with Dedk as our elder son attended Dedk few years back. Now our younger son is attending the Dedk. We are extremely happy with the positive environment and care that is being provided. The management is very helpful with all our enquiries and educators are very caring. Thank you for such a nurturing and learning environment for little learners.

A great childcare centre with experienced and consistent staff that always engage with the children. Although smaller and not a fancy facility so we were doubtful at start, but what matters most is the staff and the staff really develop knowledge how to look after each child. The bigger and fancier centres tend to have staff come and go and no engagement. The car parking can be tricky but we get used to it and a small inconvenience compared to the benefits! And fees are reasonable too! Thank you to everyone and keep up the great work 👍

Our daughter has been attending the babies room since last year and we have been so grateful how much care and love DEDK team has provided for our little one. DEDK team is like our extended family now that all staff members are very friendly and welcoming. The program is also very inclusive that they seek for family input into their programs which we feel very included. We are especially happy that our daughter gets along with her friends very well. Cannot be anymore thankful!

We have loved the environment at DEDK since I our daughter began care in the Babies Room last year. She has since transitioned to the Toddlers Room and we as a family have been so impressed with her experience thus far. The educators are incredibly warm and friendly, and are experts in early childhood development- our daughter loves mealtime, naps and learning! They ensure the children feel 'at home', with lots of lovely interactions, routines and celebrations throughout the year. Our daughter really feels comfortable with all staff, and enjoys all activities on offer. On the whole, we are so happy with DEDK, and our daughter is too- the only problem being sometimes she doesn't want to go home!
