My 3 year old son attends Big Bear St Andrew’s and I couldn’t recommend a better place to anyone. The educators are amazing , they all work 5 days and make every drop off special and safe. My son only cries because he doesn’t want to come home! I feel so welcomed every time I’m in the building and the team honestly feel like an extension of our family. They have helped with toilet training , preparing for school , teaching social skills and so much more. We love this safe little haven and thank all the team for everything they do.

We couldn’t be happier with this daycare! The staff are caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in the kids. Our son has settled in so well and comes home happy every day. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a safe and nurturing environment.

From the very first day at Big Bear Academy St. Andrews, you are immediately greeted with a warm, nurturing atmosphere that makes both children and parents feel genuinely welcome and at ease. The educators are professional and knowledgeable, but also deeply caring and attentive to each child’s individual needs and it’s clear they take the time to create a supportive environment where each child can thrive. The centre is always clean and beautifully maintained, with inviting spaces that inspire exploration and imagination. Communication with parents is also outstanding; we are regularly updated on our child’s progress and daily activities which provides great peace of mind. I couldn’t recommend Big Bear Academy more highly to any parent looking for a place where their child will be cared for, supported and inspired.

Daycare can be so daunting for parents as well as the child but Big Bear has made the transition so seamless for us from day one when touring the centre! Everybody is so welcoming and the educators are consistent and truly care and want to be there. The owners are dedicated and very hands on which is reassuring. Highly recommend!

We feel so grateful that our little Elektra has been accepted into Big Bear Academy. The centre has such a warm, homely atmosphere, and you can truly feel how much the staff care about the children. A special thank you to Sid, the chef, who puts so much effort into preparing delicious and nutritious meals — it really shows. Ms Chloe, the facility manager, is a wonderful leader — always friendly, helpful, and welcoming with a big smile. We are especially thankful for the amazing educators — Miss Vanessa, Miss Abby, Miss Kahela, and Miss Lina. They genuinely care for the children and take the time to get to know each child so well. This personal attention is such a big benefit of a smaller centre. It’s so comforting knowing Elektra is in such a caring and supportive environment. We’re truly grateful to be part of the Big Bear Academy community.

We love Big Bear Academy in St Andrews. The staff are super friendly and genuinely care about the kids. The centre is always clean, they have great facilities and exciting programs. The app is great too for updates throughout the day. Sid the chef is amazing and accommodating for dietary requests. We highly recommend Big Bear.

I have only the best things to say about Big Bear St Andrews! Right from the start, the educators were enthusiastic, dedicated and showed a genuine care for my boys. My eldest son has special needs, and the educators worked with him beautifully. When I came in to drop off or pick up my boys, I always felt welcome as the educators greeted me with a smile. The educators created such a fun, engaging environment for the kids, and they always let us know what was happening through photos and daily summaries. We left the centre as we moved away from Sydney but I have fond memories of Big Bear St Andrews and would recommend it to anyone!

If I could give Big Bear Academy 100 stars I would. Not only is it a beautiful Childcare but the staff within are amazing ❤️ My son started early 2023 and he has progressed so well over these last two years. From being non verbal to telling stories and conversating, regaining his confidence and forming great bonds with his teachers. He has learnt so much over these last two years and looks forward to going every single day. The happiness on his face upon pickup just goes to show how much he’s thriving and learning at Big Bear. Thank you to Andrew and Maxine for opening such an amazing childcare and thank you to Claudia and all the staff for all you do for our children on a daily basis.
