Our multicultural, dedicated team of Teachers and Educators provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment - where your child can thrive, and be their wonderful self, every day.

Getting school ready? We offer the 3 and 4-year-old Government-approved Preschool program that helps ensure your child has a successful transition to formal schooling.

We offer a great variety of learning experiences at Bow Bowing World of Learning including.

  • Sustainability program: Each room participates in a sustainability project. These projects help children develop and understand the importance of embedding sustainable practices into everyday life. Children learn about recycling, conserving water, growing food and the importance of looking after and protecting our planet.
  • Incursions & excursion programs: Our programs encourage children to interact with and discover their local Community. We often have visits from community services such as the police and local firefighters. We also visit the local school to familiarise the children with the school environment.
  • Music and movement programs: Our music programs have been designed to help develop fundamental skills that help support children’s self-regulation, memory and concentration. Children learn to appreciate and develop an understanding of music - and of course have fun while doing so.

About the Curriculum

About the Curriculum

“Let the child be the scriptwriter, director and the actor in their own play” - Magda Gerber

Nursery Space: 6 weeks – 2 years

Learning starts from before birth, and our Educators have created a welcoming and nurturing nursery environment where each baby feels safe to explore and discover new things - through their senses, their communication and cues (body language, facial expression and sounds) and by experimenting. On any given day you can see the nursery children engaging in all types of play, water play, music time, story time and more. Every day provides a brand new, exciting adventure for our babies to support their development, learning and wellbeing!

Toddler Space: 2 - 3 years

Our teachers and educators encourage the children to learn through play to help enhance their sensory-motor development. This happens through carefully planned music, dance, games and reading experiences.

On any given day the Toddler children can be seen developing their numeracy by building a tower, sorting objects, pointing and identifying shapes and patterns and participating in counting songs and games.

Children in our toddler space are encouraged to participate in group play. Group play is important as it helps our toddlers develop important social skills such as, turn taking, developing self confidence and emotional self regulation. Our team helps children through talking, planning and role modelling.

Preschool Space: 3 – 6 years

Preschool is a unique time for learning with peers and developing skills for later learning including confidence and curiosity, important skills for starting school. Our play-based program encourages active engagement in learning and supports a range of positive developmental outcomes including resilience, independence, critical thinking and creativity.

The oral language supports literacy learning. A child’s oral language ability is the best predictor for later success in learning to read and write. Hearing the sounds within a language is the first critical step for all literacy learning. Our team supports our Preschool children's development by engaging in rich discussions, introducing new vocabulary as part of everyday conversations, as well as singing, playing games, and reading with the children daily.

Throughout the Preschool year, children use their language to share ideas, ask questions, express themselves, and connect with peers and adults in social settings.

Social-emotional skills, including the ability to self-regulate emotions, is supported through group learning environments. Our team supports each child’s social and emotional development by labelling and talking about emotions and supporting appropriate responses as together, they engage in new and challenging situations. Lastly, ensuring that all children are ready for the ‘big school’ by preparing them for all that ‘big school’ has to offer.

Health and Nutrition

Health and Nutrition

Our centre chef prepares and cooks healthy and nutritious meals daily, catering to the unique dietary requirements of every child. We believe that by encouraging active participation (such as growing their own fruit and vegetables, preparing, and finally cooking!) children learn to appreciate and understand the importance of healthy eating.

Our centre offers children nutrient-rich, unprocessed, and seasonal whole foods – created to delight the fussiest eaters.

Meet the team

Hi my name is Lisa, and I am the Centre Manager here at Bow Bowing World of Learning. I began my career in early childhood education in 2005, and I started at Bow Bowing World of Learning child care centre in 2017. I hold a Diploma in Children’s Services.

My time working in child care and early education has by far been the most refreshing journey. I have always been drawn to the innocence and potential of children. I am constantly inspired by how children learn, as well as their thirst for knowledge and the ever-expanding world around them.

The most important and valued lesson I have learned about children is that each child is a complete individual, and they are made up of more than what we see on the outside. Therefore, giving children the tools they need will further form their self-identity.

My approach is and has always been one of inclusions and expansion. I believe that all children deserve to flourish in their surroundings, and I have always been driven to provide this environment for the children in my care.

When talking with new parents, we are sure to make them aware of the importance of play-based learning, learning alongside peers and building and lasting scaffolding relationships for children, be it with staff or other children. We are always open about the importance of learning and how this environment can assist in the children gaining a broader understanding of the world around them.

I have enjoyed getting to know the team here at Bow Bowing World of Learning child care centre, and I have come to realise that all team members are incredibly passionate about what they do. This child care centre has been home for a long time for many of us. We have a diverse team of staff and thus a greater cultural understanding of the wider community, which is reflected within our centre and with our children.

I also make sure the staff are educated on the importance of family relationships. We work hard to build trusting relationships and are committed to ongoing and open communication with all families throughout the year. Staff are encouraged to seek parents out when they can to communicate daily events and progress made by their children. I am a key link between parents and staff; thus, I am available to answer any questions and reconcile all concerns they may have.

The best daycare and preschool you’ll find! Our 4 year old has been attending for over a year and loves going so much he asks to go every day. His Educators go above and beyond for each child, and watching his confidence and learning grow has been amazing as a parent. They are incredibly professional while still treating us like family. Our 1 year old is due to start in January and already knowing the Educators so well, we cannot wait for him to experience it!

Response from the owner 22 Oct 2025

Your positive experience means the world to us and we look forward to welcoming your little one in the coming months! Best wishes, The World of Learning Team

Our son has been attending WoL for the past two years, and we couldn’t be happier. The educators are warm, caring, and genuinely invested in each child’s development. The communication with families is excellent, and it’s clear the staff put a lot of thought into creating a nurturing and stimulating environment. We’re so grateful for the amazing care and support our little boy has received.

Response from the owner 22 Oct 2025
