We’ve had such a positive experience with this childcare centre, three of my children have attended, and we couldn’t be happier. The educators are caring, patient and genuinely invested in each child’s development. My child feels safe, happy and excited to go every day, which means a lot to us as parents. Communication is clear and consistent, especially from the director, Monira, who is always supportive and approachable. The activities are engaging, well planned and help build both confidence and learning. I highly recommend this centre to any family looking for a warm, nurturing and supportive environment. At Newstart Early Learning Centre, qualified and experienced educators care for children aged 0 to 6 years in a stimulating and safe environment. Relationships between the children and educators as well as the children and their peers are important at Newstart. This is how the educators tailor a unique program for each child to support their unique interests, abilities and ideas.
The engaging outdoor environment is designed to spark the children’s curiosity and imagination as they play and develop their gross motor and physical skills. They can ride their bikes around the track, jump through the colourful tires or play in the wooden cubby house. There is also a wobbly bridge to help develop balance and coordination.
The light and bright indoor spaces have ample room to cater to the different learning needs and styles of the children. They can participate in small and large group activities or spend some time in individual play.

The play-based program at Newstart Early Learning Centre incorporates a range of learning experiences and caters to the children’s different learning styles. The educators work with the children to understand their motivations, interests and ideas so they can tailor a program that will suit each individual child.
The program encompasses a number of different elements:
Literacy and numeracy: the environment at the centre is rich in language and mathematics, helping to immerse the children in literacy and numeracy learning.
Excursions and Incursions: the educators plan regular excursions and incursions to expand the children’s thinking and learning opportunities.
Science: based on sensory learning and exploratory play, the children develop analytical thinking and an understanding of early scientific concepts.
Physical activity: the children develop fundamental movement skills such as jumping, skipping, climbing, running and balancing through both indoor and outdoor activities.
Yoga: through yoga, the children learn techniques for self care, relaxation and mindfulness. They become more aware of their bodies and also develop their strength, flexibility and coordination.

The educators at Newstart Early Learning Centre work with the parents in a respectful way. They recognise that parents are the first teachers and welcome their insights, feedback and involvement in the centre. Parents are invited to the centre to do activities with the children, such as reading or art and craft, or they can tell the children about their work or a hobby.
Parents are also encouraged to complete weekend sheets and email holiday or special event photos for the child to share at show and tell. The educators also understand the importance of culture to foster belonging, so parents are asked to share their culture and celebrations with the centre. Grandparents are welcome to attend events also, with a dedicated Grandparents Day each year.

my son went here for 1 year he learnt a lot there teaching is great they help with payments and everything I really suggest this childcare for a cheap, good learning process with young children. thank you so much for the service it really was amazing

My daughter attended for two years, and from her very first day to her last, our experience was consistently wonderful. The educators are truly exceptional and always go above and beyond to ensure the children feel supported and engaged. As a parent, it has been incredibly rewarding to watch my child grow and develop into a confident, well-rounded individual under their care. A special thanks to Ms. Afrah and Ms. Zahra — I will always appreciate the support they provided in helping my daughter settle into the daycare in her early days.
