Wish we had of come to this Centre earlier. They are making leaps and bounds with our Grandson! Always the transition period of adjustment, but he is away laughing now. So grateful for William, who runs this centre beautifully, and the Team and YMCA Point Cook, who are so wonderful with the kids.

Our little boy has attended this centre since he was just 7 months old. The educators adore him as if he is their own. I can't fault the beautiful staff in the possum room. Apart from some minor developmental separation anxiety, he is always happy and eager to go to them for morning drop off, which has me leaving with a smile on my face and the security of knowing that he is loved and cared for here. Thank you to all the staff for creating such a lovely wholesome culture. We appreciate you more than these words could ever show.

The quality of care at this centre has declined significantly since the recent change in management, and many long-standing educators have left, leaving a team that does not appear sufficiently motivated to care for the children. We ultimately withdrew our son after experiencing repeated indifference from management, who routinely disregarded parents’ concerns while different staff members tried to impose their own rules and policies rather than following a clear, consistent approach. There is no clear, standard procedure for transitioning children between rooms, and staff seem to act according to their personal preferences. On several occasions we were pressured to move our son to another room, and when he initially resisted, we worked hard to support and prepare him for the change. Once he was finally ready, he was abruptly moved back to the younger room without any discussion with us, and when we asked why, we were told that staffing issues meant his transition would no longer proceed. Without consulting us, staff also stopped his daytime nap, which had a severely negative impact on his behavior, and we only discovered this change a week later. Snatching toys from kids, talking to them loudly are normal daily scenes at this childcare. If you plan to enroll your kid, make sure you ask some tough questions in the beginning itself.

Both my kids have been with YMCA since they were 8 months old. Love their friendly and caring team, communication is timely and up to date (there are daily updates, routines and photos on Storypark, never a day it is missed). The best thing of all - the activities for the kids are very engaging (e.g mandarin classes, yoga, science experiments, number learning, cooking class etc). I would recommend this centre to anyone.

I have a very good experience with this centre for over 2 years, highly recommended by the local community. The staff and the centre managers are very friendly and professional. They are outstanding in terms of care, communications, programmes and activities. Kids bond very well with the educators.
