Health and Nutrition

Health and Nutrition

At Aspire, we see mealtimes as an important part of every child's learning journey. Sharing nutritious meals together helps children build confidence around food, explore new flavours, and establish healthy eating habits that can last a lifetime. Our approach is guided by the Australian Dietary Guidelines, ensuring every meal supports children's wellbeing and development.

Our seasonal menus include a wide range of fresh vegetables, fruit, whole grains, dairy foods, and quality protein sources such as lean meats, fish, eggs, and legumes. We focus on providing balanced, wholesome meals made with nutritious ingredients while limiting added sugar and salt. Water is encouraged throughout the day to support healthy hydration.

Every meal is thoughtfully prepared with age-appropriate portion sizes to meet the changing nutritional needs of growing children. By creating positive mealtime experiences and offering a diverse selection of nourishing foods, we help children develop healthy food choices, enjoy trying new tastes, and build a strong foundation for lifelong wellbeing.

Our son started daycare about a month ago and from the very beginning all of the staff have been so welcoming, kind and supportive. The educators have made him feel so comfortable and cared for, and he absolutely loves them.
He settles in happily every morning at drop off and comes home so happy at the end of the day, which gives me so much reassurance as a parent. It’s been amazing seeing how well he has adjusted in such a short time.
We’ve felt genuinely supported from the start and are so grateful for the care, patience and kindness the team shows every day. Thank you for creating such a warm and positive environment for the children.

I was quite nervous about how my child would settle into childcare, as he was very unsettled in the beginning. However, the team has been amazing in supporting him through this transition.
Roma and Emily truly went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and secure, and it has made such a difference, he’s now happy and settled, which gives me so much peace of mind.
A special thanks to the centre manager, Gurdeep, for the reassurance and support throughout the process. It really helped ease my worries. I’m very grateful for the care and dedication shown by the team.
