Our Young Academics Guilford early learning centre offers an inspiring, well-resourced learning environment for children aged six weeks to five years old.
The seamless indoor/outdoor learning environments have been designed to stimulate children’s cognitive development, creativity and coordination skills.
Guided by a passionate team of educators, children can choose from engaging indoor learning stations, quiet zones for rest and reflection, and a dynamic outdoor learning environment, including a designated outside area for infants (0-2 years).
Children are encouraged to explore and enjoy nature in our outdoor learning environment, which includes a wide range of equipment and resources to inspire imaginative play, teamwork and gross motor skill development. Highlights include a large sandpit, cubby house, bike track, and worm farm to build their understanding of nature and sustainability.
Children up to age three participate in the tailored Evolution Program, while those between three and five join the Transition to School Program.
The on-site cook prepares five healthy meals and snacks every day for the children to enjoy, and all nappies and wipes are included. Cot linen provided (excludes stretcher bed linen).

At Young Academics, we believe the first five years of a child’s life are critical for establishing healthy eating habits, exploring new foods, and meeting essential nutritional needs to support growth and development. Good nutrition not only enhances physical health but also boosts a child’s well-being, self-confidence, and focus.
We’ve developed our unique Nutrition Program in collaboration with a qualified nutritionist. This program is designed to help children understand the importance of healthy eating, hygiene, and physical activity. We encourage children to actively participate in meal preparation and serving, fostering a hands-on approach to learning about nutrition.
Our carefully crafted seasonal menu, which rotates every four weeks, is designed to meet 50% of your child’s daily nutritional requirements. It includes a variety of nourishing foods such as vegetables, fruits, lean meats, fish, chicken, dairy products, and more, ensuring children receive a balanced diet that supports their growth and development.

My son has been attending Young Academics in Guildford for just over a year now, and I truly can’t fault them. The educators are consistently kind, welcoming, and attentive. They maintain excellent educator-to-child ratios, which gives me peace of mind knowing my child is always receiving quality care and attention. Drop-offs can be tough some mornings, but the staff are always supportive and understanding, making those transitions so much easier. I also really appreciate how thoughtful they are when it comes to outdoor play, always mindful of the weather to ensure the children are comfortable and safe. A special mention must go to the Centre Manager, Chetna. It’s clear how seriously she takes her role. Anytime I am in the centre she is always engaged, whether it's managing administrative tasks or supporting her team in the rooms. She also strikes a great balance between professionalism and warmth, building strong, respectful relationships with families like myself. I truly cannot fault the team at YA Guildford and would highly recommend them to everyone living in the area.

Excellent caring centre who strive for excellence while treating your child like their own. I love how they have lots of events during the year to involve the parents, and how pretty and clean the centre is. I also love how the staff are all long term; that’s a good indicator that the staff are happy; I have had my child in other places where there was incredibly high staff turnover. 10/10, A+++, 100% happy with young academics Guildford!
