We have had a wonderful experience with Little Scholars in Redland Bay. The staff are truly amazing — always friendly, approachable, and incredibly supportive of both the children and families. It’s clear they genuinely care and create a warm, welcoming environment every day. The range of extra-curricular activities offered is also fantastic. There are plenty of engaging opportunities that help support children’s development beyond the standard program, which really stands out. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with the care and education provided. Highly recommend to any family looking for a childcare centre.

Our Son Billy has been attending since January 2025. It’s always such a huge relief when your children settle in well to daycare and this was a new daycare after we re located from Sydney. Our son comes home happy and loves school. Miss Maddie has been wonderful in the kindy room this year and is really giving Billy such confidence in many areas. The educators always seem happy and the centre is well run by Miss Jade. I would recommend going for a tour to check if it fits your needs. Thank you Melanie Garland

My son has attended Little Scholars for over a year. They have made many efforts to make Bailey feel welcome at drop off as he can become fussy. Taking the time to be with him one on one and settle him into his day. The photos we receive give us daily piece of mind that he is happy and enjoying a variety of activities. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. Would have no problem recommending this centre to families.

After relocating to the area, I enrolled my child and was immediately impressed. The structure and support they provide have made a significant difference in my child’s development. I already believed she was advanced, but the team recognised her abilities and continued to challenge and support her growth. The staff are wonderful, and there is always something exciting for the children, including visits from the police and fire brigade, gardening activities, and family events.

I have had the most wonderful experience with my daughter and now my son attending this service. All the staff are incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. The few small issues I’ve had have been addressed and resolved promptly. The environments are all beautifully set up and children are always playing and learning Keep up the good work! Also shout out to Miss Shell in the nursery for being the warmest, kindest, most lovely educator, she’s had both my kiddos and they both adore her 🩷

We just wanted to share a really big thank you to the wonderful team at Little Scholars Redland Bay. From the very beginning in the nursery room, our boy has been surrounded by such incredibly nurturing educators, Miss Shell, Miss Liv, Miss Kayla and Miss Lyle. They made what could have been a really emotional and scary transition feel so easy and reassuring for all of us. Even now, he still often talks about Miss Shell, which really shows the kind of impact those early connections had on him. Now that he’s moved into the next room with Miss Jazz, Miss Emily, Miss Lyle and Miss Carol, it’s been so lovely to see him continue to grow and thrive. The consistency between rooms and the way every educator takes the time to really know him means so much to us. We’ve also been so grateful for the communication the whole way through. The team is always so open and friendly, and we love knowing we can call anytime and be met with a happy, reassuring voice and a genuine update on how he’s going. The best part is seeing just how much he loves being there. He absolutely loves the girls and has so much fun. We honestly couldn’t ask for a better place for our child. The impact you’ve had on his confidence, happiness and development means more than we can put into words. Thank you from the Medlands!!

Firstly, I just want to acknowledge how welcoming and hard working the educators and staff are at little scholars. The points raised in this review are not intended to discredit this in any way. We had enrolled our little boy at this daycare and subsequently cancelled his enrolment after his first day due to very poor/ minimal communication. We chose this daycare after touring the centre and being extremely happy with it. Whilst on the tour, we were told there was an app which was used for communication between the daycare and parents so we could keep up to date with our child’s progress and receive photos of his activities throughout the day (as also advertised on their website), unfortunately this was not the case. During our stay & play, I was orientated to the nursery and was educated on their communication process which was in the form of a piece of paper attached to a clipboard that we could look at on pick up. I asked for clarification around this and was advised that due to poor wifi in the room and time constraints, documenting on paper is more convenient and less time consuming - this was obviously not what is advertised on their website nor what was relayed to us during our tour. The piece of paper documents his nutrition and sleep but has no mention of nappies or daily activities. I was also advised that I was welcome to call the centre as many times as I’d like to receive regular updates however this can be difficult to do when at work. On our son’s first day, we received no updates or photos of anything he did that day other than the limited information written on the piece of paper (image attached). This was very disheartening as this was a big milestone for us. I rang the centre at 2pm for an update over the phone and was told that he had refused his 11:45am bottle. We soon worked out it was due to the temperature of his milk and another was offered to him at 2:10pm which he finished. I understand that each child is different with regard to having their bottle heated etc. so I wasn’t expecting the educators to know his preference on his first day. However, I was extremely disappointed that I received no call to inform me that he had refused his milk and that it took me to call the centre myself (3 hours later) to be notified. By the time he was offered another (after I had come off the phone at 2:10pm) it had been a total of 6 hours since his last bottle - which was the one I gave him before drop off. Again, something that could have easily been prevented if they communicated via their app or alternatively called me when he initially refused. I’m unsure if staffing issues/high ratios are a big contributing factor to the lack of communication because it was evident to me that the girls in the nursery are very busy. I hope this provides a realistic expectation for other families who are looking to enrol their little ones at little scholars Redland Bay. It’s really unfortunate as the staff are lovely and the centre is beautiful however the communication is near non-existent and as first time parents, this did nothing to ease our nerves around leaving our son in the care of someone else.

I couldn’t be happier with the experience my son has had at Little Scholars Redland Bay. The level of education and care he received in kindergarten has been absolutely outstanding. The educators are not only highly skilled but genuinely passionate about what they do, creating a nurturing and engaging environment where children can truly thrive. One of the things that stood out the most to me was the consistent and detailed communication about my son’s learning and development. I always felt informed, involved, and reassured knowing how he was progressing and being supported every step of the way. From the very beginning, even the tour made a lasting impression. The campus is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and full of opportunities for children to explore and learn. More importantly, I immediately felt a sense of warmth and belonging — it truly felt like a home away from home. I’m so grateful to the entire team for the care, dedication, and support they’ve shown my son. I highly recommend Little Scholars Redland Bay to any family looking for a safe, welcoming, and high-quality early learning environment.
