Camden Preschool Kindergarten is a non-profit community based preschool. The Preschool caters for 40 children per day between the ages of 4-5 years. Priority must be given to children in their year before starting formal schooling. We operate to the same term timetable as the Department of School Education, opening between the hours of 8.30am and 4.00pm during school terms. We have University qualified educators who lead each room and they are fully supported by Diploma and Certificate qualified educators. All our educators are long term staff members.
Camden Preschool aims to provide equal and fair access for all children. We aim to create a welcoming and caring environment for both children and families alike. We acknowledge the uniqueness of each person; at the same time we consider the needs of the child in the context of the family and culture.
As a community-based preschool we aim to foster community spirit. We encourage our families to be involved in their child’s preschool experience and offer many opportunities for parent involvement.
Waiting list applications are taken once a child has turned 2 years of age. Please email campre@bigpond.net.au and request a waiting list application.
