Our recently renovated boutique Kindergarten / Preschool for 3 - 4 year olds is now also offering Child Care for children from 2 months - 5 years
Every day is a day to learn and explore at Play 'n' Learn Early Learning Centre. Our extensive curriculum embeds all learning aspects for all children.
We offer Reggio Emilia inspired early learning.
The Reggio Emilia approach is an educational philosophy and pedagogy focused on preschool and primary education. This approach is a student-centered self-guided curriculum that uses self-directed, experiential learning in relationship-driven environments. The programme is based on the principles of respect, responsibility and community through exploration, discovery and play.
At the core of this philosophy is an assumption that children form their own personality during the early years of development and that they are endowed with "a hundred languages", through which they can express their ideas. The aim of the Reggio approach is to teach children how to use these symbolic languages (e.g. painting, music, drama) in everyday life.
Creative Arts And Music
Aristole wrote "The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance" The theory of art as an imitation of beauty or nature is persistent throughout the history of art and which is why we add your child's voice to their artwork
Kids Cooking Lessons
Cooking is a fundamental part of a mathematical learning process for all children. Our Educators and staff really enjoy this learning aspect.
Connections with Nature, Sustainability & Science
Children love to engage in nature and learning the process of growth is so important. By planting, watching, growing and eating the produce children learn sustainable practices.
Learning A Different Language
What is the best age to learn a language? When it comes to learning a foreign language, we believe that there are added benefits in starting young because "Children don't learn language - they acquire it".
This is why we have created bilingual lessons for all children because "Even native speakers learn almost one new word a day in their own language until middle age "
