Canopy Dakabin is a welcoming, caring and compassionate environment which has taken the time to understand my children and adjust their teaching styles to support them. The centre positively communicates with my husband and I and is proactive to provide individual support when requested. My husband and I work close by and have highly recommended this centre to others.

Canopy Childcare Centre offers a warm, caring environment with attentive educators and engaging activities. The space is clean, well-organised, and great for learning and play. Though management and educators tried their best to help us but there was too much change of educators during short period for our kid to find stability that she needed the most at that time. Hoping for more stable environment in the daycare in future.

Our 2 year old daughter has been going to Canopy since January and we have had the most lovely experience with this centre and their staff. We were always greeted by a lovely smile from Mandy at reception followed by Conor. Our team leader Wayne was always friendly and happy to chat. Our daughter, like most kids, took a little bit to warm up to a daycare environment, but the educators and other kids welcomed her with open arms and it didn't take too long for her to be comfortable and participate with other kids in the day to day activities. The management is very open to conversation, and took all our daughters needs into action. We recently moved house closer to the city which made our commute unsustainable each day to Dakabin, so we had no choice but to find a closer daycare. It was very sad to leave what in only 3 months felt like people had become extended family to ourselves and our daughter. If you are looking for a top quality daycare in this area, then you needn't look any further. Thank you to all the staff you are all gems! 💎

As a family, we love this daycare. Every person, from the manager, the receptionist/administrator, the staff - they all really care. My husband and I know nearly every educator by name and always feel seen, cared for and heard by everyone and it’s evident in our son’s development. We started at this daycare while it was Sesame Lane, stayed through the transition to Canopy and we couldn’t be happier. Though we were never unhappy, since changing to Canopy we have found the staff seem happier, the children are more engaged and the centre is better cared for with many more excursions and activities. My son was developmentally behind when starting and is now advanced for his age thanks to the activities they prioritise each day. I also have friends and family who send their children here too! Another benefit to this daycare is everything is supplied! You get a hat and tee for each child at enrolment, they supply bed sheets and they provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea and will cater for fussy eaters too with the help of the in-house chef. We find it so easy in the busy mornings to just pack a water bottle, hat and change of clothes. The food they provide is of great choice and nutrition and they ask for a lot of feedback around food choices as well amongst other things! They are also fantastic at keeping you updated of any incidents through the incident reporting system not that my son has really had many at all - the staff are so diligent. There is really nothing I could fault about this daycare, it may not be the fanciest daycare but they have all the equipment needed to create a safe and happy environment and are always working with local businesses to make the centre the best it can be. Oh did I mention they have a pet bearded dragon named toothless? My son is obsessed. I’m currently pregnant with my second and will be happily sending my daughter there when the time is right. Thank you to everyone who interacts with us on the daily and cares and educates my son and our nieces. We can’t tell you how much we appreciate you all!

I couldn't be more pleased with the educators at canopy, my daughter started attending just over a month ago and Britney, Gauri and Jodie have made her feel so welcomed and supported. I love drop off and pick up as all staff are always happy and bubbly

My children have attended this centre since it first opened in 2018. Both my kids loved every educator and I always felt they were cared for appropriately. The educators seem to genuinely care for every child and their families. They know our names and ask how we are going, they become an extension of our family and that’s something special. Since changing from sesame lane to Canopy Early Learning there has been a shift to much more child focused care. Children are happy and the team are much happier which is lovely to see and makes leaving my children there an even bigger pleasure. Thank you Conor and Team for making this centre even better everyday!

As a first time mum, really appreciated the safe, positive and bright environment Canopy offers. Good communication and friendly, approachable staff. The team are always bubbly and keen to support families balancing work and care. I know my daughter is well cared for.
