Gumboots Early Learning Werribee has been fantastic for my kids. They’ve learned so much, and the teachers are truly wonderful, caring, supportive, and great with children. Highly recommend!

I recently completed my placement at Gumboots, and it was such a wonderful and supportive experience! The entire team was welcoming, professional, and truly dedicated to providing the best learning environment for children. A special thank you to Naima (the director) for her kindness and guidance and to Aggie ( my mentor) for her constant support, encouragement , and patience throughout my placement. This centre was a real standout compared to all the others I’ve visited. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt like I was part of a big family. The staff were incredibly caring and supportive, making me feel completely comfortable leaving my son there. With all the challenges in the childcare industry, it was actually a bit scary to think about leaving him anywhere else, but not at Gumboots. They always have a great ratio of staff to children, and if your little one needs extra support to adjust, they’ll be more than happy to help. Every interaction I’ve seen between the staff and kids is handled in the most caring and compassionate way. They don’t use agency staff, so all the staff are well-known and have to meet quality standards to be employed. It’s so reassuring to know that he’s not only safe but also being treated with kindness and compassion. I travel for just 20 minutes to get here, and I pass by plenty of other childcare centres, but I would prefer make the trip then go anywhere else. The updates and photos you get on the app are really helpful when you’re missing your little one too! Naima is an amazing childcare provider, and with Liz (and all the staff) supporting her, there’s no limit to what they can achieve. Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity - get in before they’re full! In my opinion, Gumboots is the best childcare centre in the whole of the West!

Gumboots has been an incredible place for my child. The educators are caring and professional, the facilities are amazing, and it’s wonderful to see how much the kids learn while having fun every day.

My son has been with Gumboots Early Learning since he was a baby. As a first-time parent, I was so nervous about leaving my child in care, but the moment I walked through the doors and was greeted with smiling faces, I felt at ease. The staff are genuine, friendly, and their priority is always the children—you can see it in the way they interact and in the love the children give back to them. Knowing he is safe, happy, and cared for makes it so much easier for me to leave him each day. One of my highlights is picking him up and hearing from the staff about how his day went. The daily photo updates are also such a joy—we sit down together at home, read about his day, and he loves talking about his educators with so much affection. Gumboots truly feels like family, and I couldn’t imagine a better place for my child. Simply the best ❤

I can't say enough good things about Gumboots. From the start, they have made me feel like they are genuinely invested in my little boy and his progress. They help work towards and celebrate milestones with us, such as walking, and have always been happy to answer my questions if I want to know how best to support him with something at home. They have also made a real effort to get to know me and welcome me as the parent, so I feel confident to leave him all day as it is like leaving him with family or friends. The photographs they post of his day are always beautiful and they put a real effort into the activities they do with the kids to help them grow. He is always well fed and happy when I collect him, and I can tell he loves going. They're fantastic.

I am so glad I moved my daughter to Gumboots when it first opened. After some lacklustre care in other settings, resulting in a very anxious and scared little girl, the team at Gumboots have worked hard to build her trust and confidence and she is thriving in the kinder room with the lovely Anu and Aggie. They have worked so hard in making childcare a safe space for my daughter, the growth especially in her social skills and emotional regulation has been incredible. My 9 month old son also recently started in the baby room, the educators in there especially the amazing Tupou and Stacey are absolute baby whisperers and had my bottle refusing, cat napping little man taking breastmilk bottles, eating solids three times a day and self settling in the cot in no time. The centre director Naima, and educational leader Liz are wonderful people who go above and beyond for all the children and their families. No request is too hard, and the love they have for the children in their care shines through in everything they do whether it be giving them extra snacks on the way out from pick up, holding the baby when a drop off is chaos or giving cuddles when we are sad. They are always available for a chat and really take the time to get to know each individual family. As a mum who has anxiety and struggles to trust anyone with her children, I feel completely at ease leaving my kids at Gumboots whilst I work. They have become the village my partner and I have never had. Thank you Gumboots for being a place my kids can call home. ❤️
