Linda has been caring for my daughters for 4 years (since 6 months) and 1 year (since 3 months) respectively. She is a warm, kind individual, treating my children like her own and taking a genuine interest in their well-being whilst facilitating their cognitive growth and development. She provides a nurturing, stimulating, play based learning environment where my children have flourished.
Linda provides a well-balanced program taking into consideration the ages and interests of the children in care. She provides opportunities for structured activities which may include circle time with stories and songs or special themed craft activities. She also allows for free play experiences indoors and outdoors.
Her home daycare environment is fantastic. Not only are there the obligatory toys and outdoor play equipment, but lots of puzzles, books, singing/dancing, dressups, art/craft, cooking and gardening are enjoyed by my girls.
She takes them on trips to other carers homes so they learn to play/socialise with other children, trips to the library and local community centre for story time/music/dance, the local mall to participate in school holiday activities, even a trip to a local cafe with animals to expand on an animal theme being covered that particular week.
Communication with Linda has always been open, thoughtful and helpful. We receive daily text messages showing what the children have been participating in during the day and she always lets us know when we pick them up about how their day has gone i.e eating/sleeping/interests/mood etc.
Linda is not only my children's daycarer, but she has become a part of our family.
I would highly recommend Linda to any parents seeking a personable, nurturing childcarer for their child/children.
