Very questionable staff members

Little Zaks Erskine park is an amazing centre. The educators are all super friendly and amazing with the children and our son loves going. The director is approachable and answers all questions, friendly and respectful.

We have been at Erskine Park since they took over, we have seen so many changes within the service. We are always communicated with and shown such respect and care. My child can have quite large emotions, thankfully the director and educators are always there and go above with regulating his emotions and building on these. Thank you to the team your hard work does not go unnoticed

Top tier management, brilliant communication and very easy to get along with. My 2 boys love Miss Karen, apples always at the ready.

We started our daughter post covid, and cannot fault the centre. My daughter used to cry alot because of how much time she had spent at home with me, but now loves going to school. She has made many new friends and absolutely adores her teachers. The teachers and Miss Karen especially are always there to listen and help not only my childs development but also my fears and concerns as a first time mother. Highly reccomend this centre for genuine caring teachers that are passionate about what they do.

I cannot fault LZ Erskine Park! I’m so happy that I enrolled my son 3 years ago. The staff are incredible! It is evident that they are passionate in helping my son thrive and grow. Shout out to Karen for always going above and beyond for our kids, we would be lost without her!

My son attended at little Zak’s in Erskine park for 2 casual days prior to his commencement start date in February. Unfortunately he caught 2 viruses during one of those days and ended up in hospital for 4 days extremely unwell. We called the centre to advise them of his illnesses and requested a deferred start date as we weren’t comfortable sending him back after being so ill. We know children get sick at daycare and we were prepared for it to happen, however 4 days in hospital over 2 days in daycare just didn’t seem worth it in the end. The lady I spoke to wasn’t empathetic at all and had no care for my sons wellbeing and told us there were no cases of these illnesses in the daycare (turned out a week later there were 8 cases of RSV in the 0-2 room - we received a notice for this). She also told us we needed to speak with Karen regarding the deferred start date and Karen would call us back. We ended up having to call for 4 weeks straight 2-3 times a week, and each time we’d call Karen wasn’t available and we were told we’d get a call back (we never got a call back, EVER). The last time we called the centre we were told it was a head office issue and they would ask them if his start date could be deferred and get back to us, after 2 days we didn’t have a response so we called head office ourselves, the lady told us we’d get a call back that day (again, no call back). We ended up getting an email response from Karen not long after advising that his start date couldn’t be deferred and the only option was to cancel his enrolment. We chose to cancel the enrolment but were told it wouldn’t end until the start of April. Keep in mind we had been calling and trying to get somewhere with the deferral since 10/02 and only got a response late March and still paying each week. We called head office to see why we needed to continue to pay each week if he hasn’t even attended his first day & since we had been trying to get in contact with Karen since 10/02. We were told they had no record of this matter at all. We ended up continuing to pay until April because we just wanted it to be over and were sick of getting no where anytime we tried to contact people. There is no care for a child’s wellbeing or empathy from any staff. We were told at our walk through that they do welfare calls if children don’t attend and they aren’t notified, yet my son didn’t turn up for his first day and wasn’t attending for 2 and half months yet no one cared enough to check in. Absolutely appalling service and care for a child’s wellbeing. They are a money hungry organisation that don’t care about the children. Will never recommend little Zak’s to my family or friends.

The quality of service from the entire team at Little Zak’s Erskine Park is exceptional. When moving houses, we’ve attended 3 different daycares in total, and Little Zak’s is the best by far. The facilities, the carers, the activities, and the way our kids are so happy to be dropped off, and tell us about how fun their day was, makes us so happy to be part of the Little Zak’s family.
