Concord Kindergarten was officially opened in 1966.
We are a community based, not for profit kindergarten, providing high quality early childhood education.
As we are a community based Kindergarten, we are run by a management committee, comprising of parents that are selected each year.
The Kindergarten is open during school terms. Children attend on Monday Tuesday & Wednesday, OR Thursday & Friday. The hours of child attendance is 9:00am – 2:45pm. Pick up by 3pm.
School terms as per Department of Education
Both groups are a mix of 3-5 year olds and programming is the same.
The Kindergarten offers a play based program that is individual for all children. We also have a music program and a sports program that are run by outside trained educators and coaches.
Staff offer families a welcoming and caring environment that encourages children to learn life skills.
The Kindergarten has 40 children here on any day. We meet all Department of Children’s services regulations
The Kindergarten also has a trained additional needs worker who facilitates those children with any additional needs.
