My son has been at Avenues NP for just over 12 months and absolutely loves it. He has formed beautiful relationships with the educators in his class, as well as with staff across other rooms, and has made a wonderful group of little friends. Since starting at Avenues, his speech, confidence and care towards others has improved significantly. The current team of educators are fantastic, and we couldn’t be happier with the care and support he receives.

Both my daughters have gone to Avenues Norman Park with one still there and you just can not fault the Educators. They are so wonderful and it is evidenced through the care and attention they give to the children and how happy my girls were and still are going there. With the recent change to the centre director, the culture and overall feel of the centre has greatly improved. I am impressed by the centres willingness to engage with parents and seek feedback, something I didn’t witness before the Management changes. I have also observed some changes to the Educators receiving opportunities to move into Lead Educator positions or different classes and that to me demonstrates a great workplace culture.

Our educators genuinely care, and it’s so lovely to know that comes through in the way they support and connect with the children each day. It also means a lot that you’ve noticed the positive changes around the centre. We’ve worked really hard to build a warm, open and supportive culture — not just for the children, but for families and our team as well. Being more connected with parents and actively seeking feedback has been a big focus, so thank you for recognising that. I have had experience at a few different daycare centers in the area now and still come back to avenues Norman park. The nursery room is so incredible with the little babies and the staff retention in all the rooms is quite incredible compared to some other centers we have tried. Everyone is so lovely, all my kids have always transitioned and settled in very easily. I will continue to recommend this Centre to friends and family !

Avenues Early Learning Centre, Norman Park is a 9 room centre catering to the individual needs of 157 children between 6 weeks and 5 years. Norman Park is a multi – level purpose built centre that boasts its own music/dance studio and Library with computers for children to access. With spacious playgrounds on each level the children are able to access these areas throughout the day.
With many long term employed Educators within the environments the children have familiar faces to arrive to and families build strong bonds with the team. Catering to each child’s individual allergies, we have an onsite chef who prepares and cooks meals fresh every day. Norman Park is rated Exceeding through the National Quality Standards.
We ensure that children’s development will be encouraged, enhanced, and supported in an environment that has its own unique rich culture that recognises, embraces and values diversity. Our aim is to foster within each child, an awareness and acceptance of others, developing respect for those who may be different from themselves in terms of lifestyle, abilities, and beliefs. We encourage children’s independence and aim to increase their awareness of the community and people around them.
