This is our last year at Warekila. After almost 5 years I will be so sad to sad goodbye to this beautiful safe space for our kids. It’s provided such a wonderful space to learn and make friendships. Highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for somewhere for the precious kinder years.

My son has loved starting at Warekila Preschool this year. He has really flourished, grown in confidence, and made wonderful friendships. He looks forward to every kinder day and comes home happy and full of stories. The teachers are amazing and create such a warm, supportive environment for the children. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and highly recommend Warekila Preschool.

We've had both of our children at Warekila Preschool — our eldest has graduated and our youngest is now in his final year. It's been such a wonderful journey. The teachers are warm and caring, and both kids have always woken up excited to go. They've loved the creative program and the welcoming atmosphere, and we've often stayed back at the playground next door for a play with kinder friends — such a friendly community. We're so grateful for everything Warekila has given our family, and a little sad to be reaching the end of our time here.

A beautiful Kinder in Blackburn. My daughter absolutely loves it. The teachers are brilliant and it is such a great space for children to learn and grow. There is a great sense of community too!

Both of my children have or will attend this beautiful community kindergarten. We love that it’s in the busy back streets. The kinder community has been wonderful and my son has flourished coming here. Far more engaging and exciting than traditional child care. Highly recommended!!!!

A hidden gem in the suburb of Blackburn. This kindergarten has been and will be our home for 4 years and 2 kids. Big open spaces means lots of opportunities for learning, play and friendships. With a short walk to nature, Warekila gives a chance for bush kinder, a gentle walk exploring what our land has to offer. Warekila has affiliations with Whitehorse Primary School and builds peer friendship with older kids with a buddy system, making transition for our littlies to school so much easier. The educators have been so supportive to both my kids. If it weren't for their daily observations and a preschool field officer prompt, I would have not known my son had an invisible disability. By noticing differences amongst his peers and supporting my boy. I am ever grateful to the wonderful educators at Warekila for the years of support. A wonderful kindergarten choice. 5 stars!!!

Really love this Kinder! We looked at a lot of different kinders in our area, and am glad we chose Warekila in the end. Our child loves it! It has a huge yard, caring teachers and a wonderful community. Our child loves the bush kinder program. And it has a long program 8.30-4 which really helps us working parents! So so much better than daycare, and it's free! So lucky to have such a great kinder so close by.

As a grandparent and ex primary teacher I have found Warekila Preschool to be a very welcoming and stimulating environment. Both my grandchildren have thoroughly enjoyed the varied and creative program. I have been impressed by how preschool educators manage to individualise their students programs and work on key objectives. The educators have been very flexible through Covid restrictions and have remained open for the children of essential workers.
