Honest Review of Woodstock Brushbox The biggest advantage of this childcare was its proximity to my home. For the sake of my child's sense of security, I never considered switching childcare early—something I now deeply regret. When my child was 13 months old, he spent his first three months at this center constantly sick, catching a new virus every week. Every single weekend was spent battling different illnesses. The teachers were often sick as well, with red eyes, coughing, and runny noses. During winter, my child always had a runny nose. If there's one thing I can "thank" Woodstock for, it's for building my child's immune system. Now that we’ve switched to another childcare, he rarely gets sick. In the summer of 2023, I noticed from the childcare photos that my child was playing well with another child. However, one day, near a park, this child suddenly ran toward my child and hit him hard on the head. The sound was loud, and my child immediately cried in pain. Even after hitting him, the child kept chasing and trying to hit my child again. Later, in the residential lift, he hit my child two more times. And this is just what I witnessed—who knows what happened when I wasn't around? When I reported this to the management team, they simply explained that “they’re just kids” and dismissed my concerns. I understand that minor injuries can happen at school. However, in August 2024, things took a more serious turn. The father of the same child asked to go on a walk together with our kids. During this time, he shared disturbing details about the mother’s severe gambling issues, physical abuse towards both him and the child, and even an attempted suicide in front of the child. Feeling sorry for the child, I allowed them to continue playing together. However, the aggressive behavior continued—he kept harming my child both in and outside of childcare. My child now has TWO PERMANENT SCARS on his forehead. Despite raising multiple concerns with the school, their response was always the same: “They’re just kids.” The final straw came when I witnessed this child invite my child to the bathroom, lift his leg, and inspect his private area. At this point, I realized the severity of the situation. I reported it immediately, yet the response remained unchanged: “They’re just kids.” I don't know if the school's staff-to-child ratio meets regulations, but from what I saw, the teachers were always busy. The children kept getting sick, spreading illnesses to each other. My child was repeatedly hurt, but unless there were visible injuries, the school didn’t document incidents. In January, my child was harmed three times, with visible injuries on his face, yet only one incident report was ever recorded. Every day, my child would complain about how this "popular" child constantly bullied him. The childcare environment was chaotic and loud, making it impossible for my child to nap properly. That being said, I want to acknowledge Miss Juliana, who was incredibly kind—my child still misses her. And Mr. Reiji’s songs are still stuck in my child’s head to this day. Now that we have switched childcare centers, my child is doing so much better. He is happier, makes friends easily, and can finally nap for an hour during the day. Thank you, Woodstock, for pushing us to leave. ——————————————————————————— This school consistently fails to record all incidents and often denies that anything ever happened. It’s frustrating to see how they always act like they’re never at fault. Don’t you realize that you’re not keeping proper records of what actually happens?

The worst centre ever!! Managing is not good. My child hurt...

Woodstock Brushbox is an exceptional childcare centre that I wholeheartedly recommend! Both of my sons have attended this wonderful place. My first son began at age 3 in 2020, and my second son started at 1.5 years old in 2021 and s still enrolled. From the moment we walked through the doors, the educators at Woodstock Brushbox have been incredibly friendly and welcoming. They create a warm and nurturing environment that truly makes a difference in my children's lives. When my first son started, I had no prior experience with childcare centres and wasn't sure what to expect. However, after having to withdraw him temporarily due to an overseas move, and then enrolling him part-time at another centre, I quickly realised just how special Woodstock Brushbox is. The difference was night and day. At Woodstock Brushbox, every morning starts with a cheerful greeting from the educators, who always use a warm and welcoming tone. I had taken this for granted until I experienced another centre, Minimaster Mind Olympic Park, where the staff didn't even acknowledge my son's arrival or departure. The positive energy and genuine care at Woodstock Brushbox are unmatched. The communication from the staff at Woodstock Brushbox is outstanding. They provide regular updates on my children's development and promptly address any issues. When my first son had some discipline challenges, the management team worked closely with my husband and me to find effective solutions. They shared their resources and techniques, which we also implemented at home, leading to significant improvements. The educators' dedication and commitment to the children's well-being and growth are truly commendable. The atmosphere at Woodstock Brushbox is always positive and filled with enthusiasm, creating a perfect environment for children to learn and thrive. If you're looking for a childcare centre that goes above and beyond in providing exceptional care, communication, and support, look no further than Woodstock Brushbox. I highly recommend this centre to any parent seeking the best for their child.

Both my baby and I have an incredible experience here. The educators are friendly, responsible, patient and provide timely feedback. They are always ready to communicate any changes or developments in my baby’s growth, which makes me feel involved and reassured. The daily activities are wonderfully varied, and my baby comes home with so many surprises from her time there. Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend Woodstock (Brushbox). The childcare educators are caring and attentive. They constantly update stats on the OWNA app so parents are informed of feeds, portions, nappy changes, naps in real-time. They stimulate creative thinking by organising various activities to engage the toddlers. Our son joined at 1+ and has had a fantastic experience. Waitlisting was only $30 (non refundable) but we were able to gain a spot and add days as they became available. Management will do their best to accommodate your days/needs.

Very positive experience, we have been sending our little one for a year, since he was 7 months. The educators were very attentive and through their activities and programs has helped our little one achieve his growth milestones. Educators were genuinely caring and have even been in touch whenever he's unwell and is absent. We truly appreciate the care that has been given to our kid and definitely recommend.

Hi, do not pay the waiting list fee of $35, i was misguided and now have been told that almost all spots go to previously enrolled students and siblings of current enrolments. So if you are new to the area do not pay the waiting list fee it is a waste of your money. You will never be called as they are backed up and basically offer new spots internally. Dont waste your money and time you will be misguided to apply for the waiting list that is not available.
