We have seen a massive shift in our son since attending Journey. With thanks to absolutely everyone involved for supporting him the way you all did. The fact that my daughters come home happy after every childcare day speaks volumes to the level of care, support and trust they have in their educators. Amanda, Shova and Savita in Pre-Kinder and Poonam and Giulia in Nursery 1 have been exceptional, and I’m so grateful for all of them.

I honestly can’t recommend this childcare enough. Seeing how far my son has come since starting here has been so heartwarming. He has changed so much in the best possible way, from his behaviour and confidence to the way he interacts and engages with others. I’m so grateful for all the care, patience, love and support the educators have shown him.<br><br>As a young first time mum, transitioning into motherhood and navigating childcare for the first time felt like such a big step, but the educators here made that transition so much easier for me. Knowing that my son is genuinely loved, cared for and happy while he’s there gives me so much peace of mind.<br><br>My son absolutely loves his educators, and it’s so beautiful seeing the bond he has with them. My son who is going to turn 3 soon has been going to pre kinder for a couple of weeks now and I'm greatful to all the educators there for being so warm, welcoming. Empathetic with not just my child but with parents too<br>Their care and support in ensuring the child feels safe and loved is outstanding. All educators here are very sensitive and loving as they need to be with children of this age, kudos to all the educators and more to Savita and Amanda.. kudos to the managers as well for their personal interest in each and every child. Krish comes back home happy and that is all any parent wishes for ❤️

My daughter attended Journey Early Learning from June 2024 to April 2025. We recently made the decision to move her to another centre after experiencing a number of concerns during her time there. The main issue we had was that our daughter was bitten repeatedly ( 5 times, with once being on her eye) , over a very short period of time and at times on the same day. And while biting can be age appropriate behaviour, it didn’t appear that the centre was putting in any measures to prevent this, despite my request to address this (as it also seemed to be the same child ). My concern was that staff were either not taking this seriously or were not given the support to prevent this. I personally felt the response and preventative measures came later than they should have, and the experience had a noticeable impact on my daughter. Another concern for me related to privacy practices. While I understand this may not have been standard procedure, I became aware that Microsoft Teams had occasionally been used to share children’s images internally to staff, for centre purposes. This raised some discomfort for me around how children’s photos and information were being managed. I also found communication from the centre to be inconsistent at times. Although this did improve somewhat after multiple conversations with staff, I still often felt unclear about important information and expectations. There appeared to be a disconnect between administration and floor staff, as information would sometimes differ depending on who I spoke to, which became frustrating over time. Overall, while there were positive staff members and efforts made along the way, the experience ultimately did not meet the standard of care and communication we were hoping for our daughter.

We absolutely love this childcare centre and cannot recommend it enough! My daughter graduated from kindergarten last year, and she still talks about how much she misses this place and her wonderful educators. The love, care, and support she received during her time here truly made such a positive impact on her growth and confidence. Now my son is in the nursery room, and it has been so beautiful to watch him learn and grow in such a nurturing and caring environment. As a parent, there is no better feeling than knowing your child is safe, happy, and genuinely cared for. The educators are incredibly kind, supportive, and passionate about what they do, and it gives me complete confidence leaving my child in their hands every day. Thank you to all the amazing educators and staff for the love, patience, and dedication you show to the children. We truly appreciate everything you do for our family. Love you all! ❤️

As an aunt, I had the opportunity to pick up my nephew from Journey Early Learning Essendon for almost a month, and I was really impressed by the warm and supportive environment. A special thank you to Nina from admin for always being welcoming, kind, and helpful. The staff were very caring and took the time to communicate his daily routine and experiences at the end of each day, which gave our family a lot of reassurance. It was lovely to see how comfortable and happy my nephew was with the educators and the positive connections they built with him.

Our son attends the Pre-Kindergarten room this year and has settled in so well. We have noticed wonderful progress in his confidence, behaviour, and social skills. The educators are professional, caring, and highly experienced in understanding and supporting children’s individual needs. Overall good experience.

As a father, I couldn’t be happier with the care and support my son receives at Journey Early Learning. He has been attending service from last 2 years. This year l have seen positive change in my child. My son looks forward to attend and has become more confident, social, and independent since then. The learning activities are engaging, creative, and support his development in such a positive way. I also really appreciate that the centre provides halal food options and respects different cultural needs, which makes us feel included and comfortable as a family. The educators have also been very supportive and patient with my son during his toilet training journey, which has made a huge difference for us at home as well. It’s reassuring to know our son is in a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment. Thank you to all the amazing educators and staff for the wonderful work you do every day!
