My child has attended this centre for some time, and while there are positive aspects such as friendly educators and a generally welcoming environment, I have ongoing concerns about safety management. Over the past year and a half, my child has been bitten multiple times by the same child, including incidents where the skin was broken. This has caused significant distress and fear for my child. Although the centre reported the incidents, I feel the measures taken to prevent repeated biting were not sufficiently effective. As a parent, I expected stronger intervention and clearer communication about how the situation would be managed to ensure my child's safety. On the positive side, some staff members are caring and supportive, and there are aspects of the program that my child has enjoyed. However, consistent safety and supervision are critical, and in our experience this has been an area of concern. I hope the centre continues to improve its behaviour management and communication practices to ensure all children feel safe and protected.

My kids were originally at a previous daycare centre the centre closed down abruptly and kids discovery were so helpful and understanding to my stress as a mum. They welcomed me in right away for a tour of the centre. I decided to send my kids to discovery and the teachers were so welcoming and understanding of the difficulty it will be for my kids to deal with the sudden change. My son was quite young and was very settled with the previous daycare. But the educators were so adaptable and willing to help in anyway. My kids are so settled at discovery now, the daily activities are very engaging. My daughter will be graduating today and I'm confident they have helped to set her up for big school with confidence and knowledge.

Kids Discovery Spring Farm has truly become my little Evelyn’s second home. Every educator we have met has been incredibly kind, caring and supportive. With their patience and encouragement, Evelyn has grown so much — she is now more confident, independent and engaged in her learning. I can go to work with complete peace of mind, knowing that she is safe, happy and so well cared for every single day. A heartfelt thank you to Ms Talia and her wonderful team for always keeping close communication with us and supporting Evelyn every step of the way. We are deeply grateful for everything they have done. I would recommend this centre with all my heart to any family looking for a place where their child will truly be cared for.

I cannot speak highly enough of this childcare centre. From the moment we enrolled, we felt welcomed and supported. The educators are warm, professional, and genuinely care about each child’s wellbeing and development. My child has grown so much in confidence, language, and social skills since joining. The communication with parents is excellent—they always keep me updated with photos, activities, and daily routines. The centre is spotless, safe, and full of creative learning opportunities. I love how they focus on emotional development, independence, and fun! I feel completely at ease knowing my child is in such loving and capable hands. I truly recommend this childcare to any family looking for a positive and nurturing environment.

My two children attended this centre as it first opened and we have had some beautiful educators come and go, unfortunately we have recently left this centre due to some serious concerns, My daughter was unable to move up to her age appropriate class room as all rooms were filled in the beginning of the year when Kids academy closed down. As a parent experiencing a child with allergies and intolerances for the first time I unfortunately was unaware of what the procedure was, June 2025 I had made his room leader and several of his educators aware he may have a potential allergy to egg that could possibly become anaphylaxis, there was also multiple conversations had between these educators and myself regarding what progress we were upto with this allergy in the following months. I was never told to supply any forms or sign anything at the centre regarding this, in August 2025 my son had a bad reaction to a muffin that contained eggs, Unfortunately I feel as though the management had brushed this under the rug, I was met with the answer that they had made the babies room egg free, unfortunately they're now stating they were never informed and denying I ever told anyone about his previous reaction to eggs in June. This is a lesson learnt on my end to document everything, it is such a shame to see a once amazing service turn like this.

I withdrew my children from this centre due to serious concerns with safety, professionalism, and honesty under the new management. My son has allergies and a suspected intolerance to dairy which I verbally expressed to several educators in his room. Prior to the new management taking over, an action plan was put in place and in place of full cream milk, I was supplying almond milk for quite a few months until advised otherwise by the immunologist. I was never advised to put this in writing, but now wish I knew better because under investigation, management and current educators denied any knowledge of the verbal conversation and the supply of almond milk. My daughter (3yrs) reported to me an inappropriate incident with an educator, when I expressed this concern with an educator I trusted and thought highly of, gave a plausible explanation that eased my worries. But again, under investigation by the DET, this conversation was completely denied by management and educators. The dishonesty is alarming. Unfortunately, DET have dismissed my complaints as "he said, she said" due to the LIES of those involved at the centre and nothing being in writing. So please document everything, in any situation involving your babies! What was once a caring environment has sadly deteriorated. I cannot recommend this centre and would urge families to look elsewhere. ****Edited to add on after their reply**** The only part of their reply that’s true is that I didn’t take my concerns directly to management, something I regret, as it would have created a clear record and no room for lies. Instead, I shared my concerns with the room leaders and other educators, trusting them with the information and the process that followed. The room leader in my son’s room ensured his action plan and our verbal conversation was shared with the team and discussed before going on leave. This is my first experience managing allergies with my children, so I relied on the educators to follow protocol or, at the very least, guide me to contact management directly. I am not a liar, this was my experience at your centre. I have nothing to gain by lying. I'm advocating for my kids, as any parent would after this experience.

As a parent and an educator, I can honestly say that I am so proud to be part of this organisation. The staff are experienced, professional, warm and welcoming. The service is well resourced, clean and exciting learning experiences are planned daily. As a first time Mum returning to work, I have been supported, reassured and felt welcomed into the service. All of the educators are kind, caring and nurturing towards the children, families and each other. I have 100% confidence in the care that my daughter receives during her time in care. My daughter and I have found a family in Kids Discovery Spring Farm and we couldn't be more happier! 10/10 recomend!

I am so disappointed with our experience at Kids Discovery. We had originally moved to this service due to unforseen circumstances. 1 of my children was conatantly coming home telling me that they were upset or lonely throughout the day. We had a serious incident (occurred in the morning) that required medical attention. No contact was given to us until pick up time in the afternoon. It was only then that we sought the medical attention and were thw ones to request the incident form. Im not sure if proper protocol was then followed in reporting the incident to the department. I had many conversations as well as sent several emails raising concerns for my childrens wellbeing. I felt that responses were quite dismissive or that my thoughts and opinions as a parent were shut down or invalid. There was a massive lack of communication happening within the service. This is to the point of, on my childrens last day, when I thanked one of the educators for their time caring for my child, they were not even made aware that my child was leaving, even though i provided 2 weeks notice. Please note, this educator was also the room leader of my child's room. I really wanted to love this service as everyone seemed so lovely to begin with. Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect that. A note for all families. Ensure that you document all conversations and any changes made to your child's care. Educators and management should be documenting these changes even if you verbally communicate with them. Its disappointing seeing other people having negative experiences as well.

We have been part of Kids Discovery since its opening and have continued our journey with the centre under new management. The staff are consistently attentive, and welcoming, creating a warm and supportive environment for both families and children. We have experienced great communication, with prompt responses to enquiries and a genuine effort to accommodate individual needs. The new manager, Pam, has been outstanding, going above and beyond to support our family and address any requests we have made. Educators deliver structured learning opportunities alongside engaging educational activities, fostering both growth and curiosity. Our children have formed meaningful, lasting friendships and look forward to attending each day. Overall, Kids Discovery provides a nurturing, high-quality learning environment, and we are extremely satisfied with the care and education our children receive.
