Our daughter has been attending the centre for almost a year now and I have nothing to say but good things. The staff are so caring and attentive to every child. They always give us updates about our little one and communicate any concerns they have. The kids are always busy, doing something creative and stimulating activities whilst sticking to a routine. Moreover, we can also monitor our child's routine and activities through Story Park which our relatives overseas can also access. Overall, we can see improvement on our daughter's social skills, confidence and language. Thank you Katrina, Alana, Leilani, Pinal, Isabel, Lisa, Navpreet and the rest of Uniting Early Learning Westmead Team. You have been a great part of Amaynah's learning journey.

A wonderful place for children to learn and grow! Uniting Early Learning Westmead has been an amazing experience for our family. The educators are warm, caring, and truly dedicated to the wellbeing and development of each child. Our kids loved going there every day — they were always excited to learn, play, and interact with their friends.

My son has been attending Uniting Early Learning Westmead since 2023 and its a shame we had to leave the centre due to relocating. Amazing staff who tries their best to identify each child's unique needs and work accordingly. Shifts don't impact at all as they work synchronised and each educator was aware of my son's specific needs. As a family we felt welcomed and Katrina (director) made immense efforts to ensure children are happy and safe at the centre. Educators throughout my son's time in the centre were great. Big thanks to educators Hansu, Priyanka, Jipsa, Hema, Azara, Amy, Hema Bala, Iti, Lilly and all others who supported my son's learning journey. My son did really form attachment with previous educators Kait, Anne and Sandi whom he adored. Wishing the centre and all the staff the very best. May you have the opportunity to nurture many more children ❤️😊

We are so sad to be leaving Uniting Early Learning Westmead. Katrina, you manage and facilitate a truly remarkable centre. Your attention to detail is impeccable, the staff are nothing short of amazing. It is clear that your staff feel valued and appreciated in their work. They are caring, encouraging and have cared for our boys in such a fantastic way. We honestly will never forget each and everyone one of you.

The centre is organised, professional & very clean. Highly recommended and one of the only very few non-profit centers in the area. The children really come first here.

There's no doubt in my mind that Uniting Early Learning Westmead is one of the best day cares in Sydney, let alone the Parramatta region. We started our son at the age of 11 months and he needed only a couple of days to develop strong bonds with his educators so much so that we were able to drop him off without any tears! At the age of 2, we temporarily moved him to a daycare closer to our home, however it wasn't nearly the same. He was always uneasy about going to daycare and there would be a new educator in the room at almost every morning drop off which added to his anxiety, making this a difficult experience. In our short time there, we found there wasn't the same standard of consistency, attentiveness, flexibility to cater and to be honest, care factor from the staff. After 12 months, for the ultimate benefit of our son and at the time 10 month old daughter, we decided to move them back to Uniting Westmead and we haven't looked back since! The attention to detail by Katrina and the educators within each room is amazing. The rooms, activities, meals, initiatives and communication is extremely considered with the benefit and growth of the children at the forefront of everything. We can't thank the team enough for being part of our children's formative years and we couldn't recommend this daycare enough; so much so that our niece and nephew are now also attending!

My son has been attending Uniting at Westmead for almost 2 years now. The staff are very caring, encouraging and aim to develop our children in many areas to the best of their ability. My son has been able to form genuine trusting relationships with his peers and teachers. There's a focus on appreciating and respecting cultural diversity as well as acknowledging and respecting the First Nations People. Katrina finds time to get to know the children and the dynamic at Uniting and is very personable and approachable. She acts on parent's concerns and requests promptly and kindly. We absolutely LOVE Uniting Early Learning at Westmead! Our son has been attending for over two years, and the experience has been nothing short of amazing. Before Uniting, we were unhappy with our previous daycare, where serious oversights like missed bottles and sunburn incidents occurred. Thankfully, we had our son on Uniting’s waitlist, and when we reached out to Katrina (the Centre Director) in urgent need of care, she was incredibly helpful and got us started within days. The difference between Uniting and our previous daycare has been like night and day. Every educator takes the time to truly know and understand each child and their family. Our son, who has often struggled with new environments, has felt safe and supported by the caring and patient educators. The educators are incredibly encouraging, helping the children build confidence and a sense of achievement in everything they do. The daily routine at Uniting strikes the perfect balance between structure and free play. The children benefit from a well-planned schedule that gives them a sense of stability while still allowing plenty of opportunities to explore, be creative, and follow their own interests. The centre itself is warm and welcoming, with excellent communication, a wonderful community of families, and a fantastic range of activities. We especially love the well-designed outdoor space, complete with plenty of shade and water play in summer and outdoor heaters on the balcony in winter. Even after two years, we still feel incredibly lucky to be part of Uniting. Our son comes home excited to share stories about his friends and teachers—and he even asks if he can go to school on weekends! The centre is exceptionally well-managed by Katrina, who is not only a knowledgeable educator but also a dedicated and approachable leader who truly cares about the children and their families. One of the unique aspects we love is the connection the children have with the "grandparents" from Uniting Aged Care, as well as excursions to Parramatta Park. The indoor and outdoor spaces are beautifully maintained, and over the years, the kids have enjoyed growing plants, caring for pet chickens and goldfish, and participating in activities tailored to their interests. The communication from the centre is excellent, with regular updates, photos, and schedules shared through the Story Park app, which gives us wonderful insight into our child's day. A huge thank you to the entire team at Uniting for your support, passion and hard work —you have truly changed our lives for the better, and we will always be grateful!
