Our little boy has been attending Little Locals South Ripley since the centre first opened in 2024, and our family has nothing but positive things to say. The centre has beautiful indoor and outdoor learning environments, with facilities that are clean and well maintained, and they have a fantastic range of resources and activities that keep the children engaged and excited to learn. We also love the fun incursions and celebrations held throughout the year, which create many special memories for the children. One of the greatest strengths of Little Locals is the exceptional quality of its staff. Founding managers Amy and Jess set a high standard from the beginning, creating a team who are genuinely passionate, caring and enthusiastic about early childhood education. Jess, in particular, is a huge credit to the centre. Her communication and interpersonal skills are fantastic, and any concerns or issues are always managed professionally and efficiently. She greets families by name and goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome, valued and cared for. This year, our little boy found the transition from Toddlers to Juniors challenging, as he adjusted to a new classroom and new educators. However, the Juniors team has been incredible, they always offer cuddles and reassurance at drop-off, helping him to feel safe and supported. As our little boy's language has developed, we've realised just how much he enjoys his time at Little Locals. The educators expand his world more than they probably realise, and almost every day after care, he surprises us with something new he has learnt. His confidence, independence and sense of self have flourished. All of the educators and support staff work together to create a genuine sense of belonging and community. Kellie, Katrina, Sarah, Becky, Alicia, Lizzie, Chloe, Amanpreet, Oliwia, Lavinia, Zahra, Peita and Mandy - just to name a few - are all wonderful role models and have made a positive impact on his early learning years. A special thank you to Keira, who has become our son's attachment figure. Keira is always actively engaging with the children; playing, listening, guiding, teaching and comforting. We have been incredibly fortunate to have her follow our boy through his transitions from Nursery, to Toddlers, and now Juniors. We are very grateful for the care, consistency and genuine connection she has with him. We recommend the centre to any family looking for a nurturing, engaging and supportive environment for their child.

We are beyond grateful that we found Amy, Jess & her team! Our son has been going there for over a year and we wouldn’t have it any other way. He has flourished being under Miss Praise and he loves going to kindy everyday. It’s going to be sad leaving the team next year when he goes to Prep but thanks to them he’s ready to step into big kid school.

Our daughter has been here for just over a year and she has flourished beautifully! The staff turnover is minimal which is what you want at a daycare centre. I always recommend LLSR to other families. Also the food is on point and made fresh which my toddler devours every time in fact lots of adults always say how good it smells too haha

My son is loving his experience at Little Locals South Ripley! After having a rough start being his first time in care, they made sure to try everything to make him comfortable & settle him. Only after a few months (mind you he only goes 2 days a week) - He now loves going to daycare! Doesn’t cry at drop off anymore, waves good bye to the girls when I pick him up. It’s so nice knowing that he is actually getting looked after & him knowing he can trust these girls. Thank you so much!

Little Locals South Ripley is a truly wonderful, inclusive, and caring early learning centre. The educators and support staff provide exceptional care, creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children to grow and thrive. Our little boy absolutely loves attending and looks forward to his days there. The centre offers fantastic resources and a variety of learning opportunities that support each child's development. We really appreciate the high-quality meals provided daily, as well as the convenient take-home meal option and afternoon tea provided to families at reception on pick up. They go above and beyond decorating and celebrating special events throughout the year, including Book Week, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Christmas, just to name a few - making each one memorable for both children and families. Educators are regularly celebrated and valued for the amazing work they do, and management are approachable, professional and always a pleasure to deal with. Little Locals South Ripley has been an amazing place for my child to grow and learn. We’ve seen so much progress in her development, and it’s clear that the love, care, and creativity of the educators play a huge role in that. The staff and management are incredibly talented, caring, and dedicated, always updating families in a timely and professional way. The centre is warm and welcoming, filled with fantastic resources that support all areas of learning and play.
