Our girls have been attending Heritage House North Parramatta for a while now, and we’ve had a really positive experience.

What I’ve liked the most is seeing how the educators use everyday moments to teach the children. During drop-offs and pick-ups, I’ve witnessed little interactions that have really stuck with me.

One that I’ll always remember was hearing Miss Lillian ask a child, "So what do you want?" after the child said they were cold. Instead of simply getting them a jacket, she encouraged them to identify what they needed and communicate it. It was such a simple moment, but I thought it was a great way of helping children express themselves rather than expecting others to guess what they wanted.

I’ve also noticed little things like Miss Lillian lowering her voice during roll call, encouraging the children to stop, listen and pay attention to when their names are called.

Another thing I’ve really appreciated is watching Miss Kruti with the children. Early on, I noticed she spent time learning what interested each child and built activities around those interests. More recently, I’ve seen her introduce new topics and experiences as well. I really like that balance because children should be encouraged to explore what they enjoy, but they also benefit from being exposed to new ideas they may never have chosen themselves.

I also love that the children are encouraged to make choices and confidently say “yes” and “no.” To me, that’s helping them build confidence, independence and their own personalities. I’ve also noticed them being taught to think through different situations using role play and to be gentle and caring with younger children.

One educator I’d also love to mention is Miss Gayle. While I haven’t had the opportunity to witness her classes in the same way during drop-offs and pick-ups, I’ve definitely seen her influence at home. Our girls often come home singing songs or talking about stories they’ve learned, and whenever I ask where they learned them, the answer is always, “Miss Gayle!” The songs are so catchy that we find ourselves singing them together at home, and it’s lovely seeing how excited they are to share what they’ve learned with us.

As a parent, you only see small snippets of your child’s day, but sometimes those snippets tell you a lot. From what I’ve witnessed, the educators genuinely care about helping children grow into confident, kind and curious little people, and we’re so grateful our girls get to be part of that environment.

Thank you HHNP (and the director Miss Kruti in particular) for providing us with that trust and peace of mind while our kids are in your care.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience at Heritage House Child Care in North Parramatta. As first time parents we were nervous sending our child to daycare. From the very beginning, our fears were quashed as we’ve always felt that our child has been genuinely cared for, and the educators go above and beyond to make him feel safe, happy, and supported.

A special thank you to Ms Madhu, Ms Sadia, Ms Devika, Ms Lillian and Ms Kruti. The whole team is incredibly caring, patient, and attentive, and it’s clear how much they love what they do. They have made us feel part of the family.

We never worry when we drop our son off because we know he is in such capable and caring hands.

Family-owned and operated since 1995, Heritage House has supported generations of local families from infancy through to preschool. Our approach brings together nurturing relationships, inquiry-led learning and beautifully considered environments where each child’s individuality is recognised and their confidence, curiosity and sense of belonging is encouraged.

Our all-inclusive daily fee gives children access to a rich variety of experiences, including in-house sport, dance, music and language programs. These purposeful experiences support each child’s social, emotional and cognitive development while building confidence and independence.

Child safety and compliance are built into the way every Heritage House centre operates.

This commitment is supported by an experienced leadership team with more than 120 years of combined Early Education experience, including a dedicated Compliance Manager with over 30 years of sector experience. Regular compliance reviews, centre audits, supervision reviews, practical coaching and ongoing child safety training help translate strong standards into consistent daily practice and protect the trust families place in us.

Families can feel reassured knowing our safeguards include rigorous recruitment and reference checks, Working with Children Checks completed before employment, comprehensive induction and professional development, structured supervision plans, restricted-access CCTV and clear incident communication.

We also maintain a carefully selected casual educator pool dedicated to Heritage House, with no reliance on external agency staff. This supports greater familiarity, consistency and trust for children, families and educators.
