Our Philosophy

At Little Bunnies, we are committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to learn. Guided by our core values — Fair, Flexible, Fun, and Friendly — we strive to create a place where children thrive.

FAIR

We believe all children have the right to access high-quality education and care. We are committed to fostering an equitable and respectful environment that embraces diversity and supports the individual needs of every child and family.

FLEXIBLE

We recognise that each child is unique. Our routines and educational programs are thoughtfully designed to be flexible and responsive, reflecting children’s interests, strengths, cultural backgrounds, and stages of development.

FUN

We believe play is the heart of early learning. Through engaging, hands-on experiences, we nurture curiosity, creativity, and joyful exploration — making learning a fun and meaningful journey for every child.

FRIENDLY

Our team of passionate educators builds warm, trusting, and collaborative relationships with children, families, and the community. We create a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels safe, respected, and connected.

CHILD SAFE

We are a Child Safe Organisation. The safety, wellbeing, and voice of every child is at the centre of our practices. We uphold clear policies and procedures to prevent harm, respond to concerns, and ensure all children are protected, respected, and empowered to speak up. Our educators are trained in child protection and committed to creating a culture of safety and trust.

Together, these values shape a learning community where children feel a sense of belonging, grow with confidence, and develop the foundations for lifelong learning and wellbeing.

Acknowledgement of Country

At Little Bunnies, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our centre stands. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and recognize their continuing connection to land, culture, and community.

Programs

Programs

At Little Bunnies, all of us are committed to implementing the NSW Child Safe Standards. The safety, health and wellbeing of children is the number one priority of all staff and volunteers who understand children’s safety is a shared responsibility. We have zero tolerance for any form of child abuse and are committed to acting in children’s best interests. Our policies and procedures support and inform this commitment, and our leaders and managers regularly review staff and volunteer practices and understanding, prioritising training or taking other relevant action if required.

Our policies and procedures also support and comply with the Education and Care National Law and Regulations, and the National Quality Standard (NQS), whose guiding objective and principles outlined in section 3 include ensuring “the safety, health and wellbeing of children attending  education and care services”, “the rights and best interest of children are paramount”, the principles of equity, inclusion and diversity underlie this Law”,” that Australia’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures are valued”, and “that the role of parents and families is respected and supported.” This objectives and principles are embedded in many of the Laws and Regulations which we must comply with. The Laws, Regulations and NQS elements which are particularly relevant to child safety are listed above.

Kindergarten/Preschool Programs

Kindergarten/Preschool Programs

Our educational programs are thoughtfully designed to be age-appropriate, engaging, and responsive to each child’s individual needs, interests, and developmental stage. We follow a child-centred approach, where children are active participants in their learning journey. Our educators observe, listen, and extend on children’s ideas to create meaningful experiences that foster curiosity, creativity, and confidence.

We also offer a dedicated Transition to School Program, which helps children build the skills, confidence, and routines needed for a smooth and successful move to kindergarten. Through strong connections with local schools and regular school readiness activities, we support children in feeling prepared, secure, and excited for the next step in their learning journey.

Health and Nutrition

Health and Nutrition

We provide nutritious and delicious meals that support children’s health, energy, and development. Our menu is designed in alignment with the Munch & Move program, promoting healthy eating habits and physical wellbeing from an early age. Meals are prepared and delivered by Kids Gourmet Food (KGF), a trusted provider of childcare catering that meets national dietary guidelines. Our meals with KGF are also Halal certified. We regularly review our menu based on children’s preferences and feedback to ensure mealtimes are both enjoyable and nourishing. I recently finished my placement at Little Bunnies, and I’m truly grateful for the wonderful experience I had. All the staff fully supported me throughout my journey, helping me understand the routine and guiding me in working with the children. I really loved the way they teach and care for the children with so much patience and dedication. I highly recommend everyone to visit this centre—you will not regret it for sure. A special thank you to Director Han as well. She was always there to support me and often checked in to see if I needed any help. Thank you, Little Bunnies, for such a positive and memorable placement experience.

I first heard about Little Bunnies Childcare Centre from other mums who spoke highly of the Arncliffe centre. Now that a new centre has opened in North Parramatta with the owner personally overseeing it and the Arncliffe team also joining here, I’m really looking forward to seeing the same high-quality education and happy experiences for the children.
