Our in-house cook prepares nutritious meals and snacks using seasonal menus. All food is freshly made on-site, ensuring quality and freshness. Our staff members are trained in first aid and hold the ‘I’m alert’ food safety certificate

Parents have the option of regular take-home meals, easing the challenges of busy family life. Complimentary morning tea is provided for those doing the morning drop-off.

At Eden Academy West Lakes, children can enjoy a variety of meals throughout the day, including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late snack. Our interactive classes with the cook promote a love for food and develop cooking skills in children.

With over nine years of experience in early childhood education, I’ve had the pleasure of working as an educator, kindergarten teacher, and educational leader. Throughout my journey, I’ve developed a deep passion for guiding and supporting young learners. What inspires me most is the energy, creativity, and curiosity that children bring into our centre every day. I love seeing them grow, develop new skills, and achieve their full learning potential. At West Lakes, we warmly welcome all staff, families, and children to be part of our “home away from home” — a place filled with care, nurturing, and endless learning opportunities.

Rigorous Recruitment & Screening - All Eden team members undergo thorough checks — including Working With Children, ID, work history, references, right to work, background, and child protection training — to ensure the highest safety standards.

Ongoing Staff Training - Our educators and leaders regularly complete professional development in child protection, identifying signs of harm, mandatory reporting, and creating safe spaces.

Clear Policies & Procedures - We have strong systems in place for reporting and responding to concerns, guided by our Child Protection Policy, Code of Conduct, and Risk Management and Incident Reporting processes.
