Our high-quality, play based preschool curriculum is delivered by Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teachers. Our teachers tailor their programs to ensure all children develop the confidence and social and emotional skills needed for a smooth transition to school. Through play, our Early Childhood Teachers facilitate children’s learning of important language, literacy, numeracy and creative skills.

Goodstart Early Learning uses the StoryPark app to connect with parents throughout the day. The educators upload photos and stories to the secure app, which parents can access anytime and anywhere to track their child’s progress.
The approach at the centre is very much based around partnership between families and educators. The educators work with the parents and carers to build strong relationships. They develop trust so the children can feel safe and secure while at the centre. Parents are also encouraged to share their insights and feedback with educators to add depth to the relationship.
The educators observe the children every day and tailor the program around their observations. They share these with parents, so they can feel connected to their child’s progress and also provide feedback that will further enhance their child’s learning experience.

Well, what can I say? Goodstart Secret Harbour has been absolutely incredible, and I am so incredibly grateful for the time, care and effort every single staff member has put into my little boy.<br><br>My son has been attending Goodstart for almost a year now, and watching him thrive, grow and develop has been so wonderful. I genuinely couldn’t be happier with the care and support he has received. The communication from the centre has been amazing, and I really appreciate how consistently they keep me informed about my son, his days, his development and anything that is relevant to him.<br><br>I am terrible with names at times, so I sincerely apologise if I have missed anyone out. Please know that you are all appreciated and loved. A special thank you to JoJo, Gemma, Paula, Tammy, Cath, Shelby and Wendy. ❤️<br><br>Words can never really express how much I value everyone at Goodstart. Thank you for not only being there for my little one, but for the support, kindness and understanding you have shown me as well, particularly during some really difficult times. We have been at the centre for 1yr now and we have such a positive experience.<br><br>It's a very hard to leave your child with strangers but the staff here have been exceptional in making our son feel welcome. They are no longer strangers but extremely valued members in our child's life. They know his friends, his routine, his likes & dislikes, even his pets.<br><br>The communication is excellent, calling me daily for his first week, letting me know how he was going. I found this very reassuring.<br><br>Then again calling me today when he was very unsettled at drop off (which is unusual for him) to let me know he was happy and playing.<br><br>I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this centre.<br><br>Shout out to super stars JoJo, Nella, Bella and Aman his favourites.

My daughter attended a previous daycare centre and it was awful. I was very reluctant to even put her in another daycare centre and had lost a lot of trust in others caring for my daughter. My husband and I chose Good Start in Secret Harbour for many reasons. My daughter is incredibly happy and has been pretty much since even her 1st day. She has 3 main educators who she loves. When I collect her she runs at me so happy. This gives me great confidence that I chose the right centre for her. My son now goes to the centre as well and he’s in the baby room. He is always so happy when I drop him off and collect him. He sleeps better at daycare than he does at home! The girls are very diligent, caring and nurturing. His first few days I got constant updates via the app and he was so happy - again this gave me the reassurance that I’d chosen the right centre for both my babies. I love the feel of the centre - feels so homely. I love the outdoor play area. I love that the educators all vary in age. Drop offs and pick ups are so easy. The consistency and continuity of staff is great. I love that the director Mel will help out with the kids. I love more than anything that my babies are happy and that I can go to work stress free without having to worry about the care that they’re both receiving. My husband and I couldn’t have chosen a better daycare centre x
