Thanks Nido secret harbour for always being that friendly face when I need it. From walking in to smiles and a wonderful smell to being greeted with a delicious modern continental breakfast that we refer to as a special breakfast. Thank you for the kindness and compassion during hardship. Thank you for creating a home away from home. We love being part of this wonderful and even stronger community.

After reading all the great reviews I was excited to go have a look at NIDO and possible find my little one a space. However what I’ve found has been very disappointing! The lack of communication, professionalism and organisation is shocking actually. After being told I would hear from the centre by October if there is a space for my little one (I was happy to go on a waiting list or find another centre) I hear nothing from the centre AT all. So I decide to give them a call in late November and I get stuck with having to leave a message and being promised that the manager will call me back, I do this 3 times. I still haven’t heard back from the centre. I’ve found another lovely daycare willing to work with me. NIDO is unprofessional- if you can’t communicate effectively and professionally, if you can’t be organised how are you managing looking after little ones? Definitely will NOT be recommending NIDO Secret Harbour.

I was very upset to arrive and find my daughter crying in the corner, not being consoled, after being bitten once again — by the same child. This has become a repeated issue, and the responses from staff feel scripted rather than genuinely focused on resolving the problem. It’s deeply concerning that multiple children are being bitten several times a week. It’s a real shame, as the educators in the rooms are all genuinely lovely and caring. Unfortunately, the management does not seem to prioritise the children’s wellbeing, which completely undermines the efforts of those educators. If you’re looking for a truly safe and caring environment for your little ones, I’d strongly reconsider this centre.

It was an amazing team of educators who demonstrate professionalism, kindness, and genuine care every day. The learning environment is well-organised, and the children are always encouraged to explore and grow with confidence. Really could feel the team’s dedication and the positive atmosphere they create for both children and families!☺️

My tiny terror loves coming here. He gets so excited when he see's Georgia, Hanna and Tiana that he can't get out of the car fast enough. He has a special bond with Georgia, Hanna and Tiana since he joined the school. He also hates going home as that means he leaves Amy, Alyssa, Corbin, Emma, Ashleigh, Krystal, and Maykala. When he see's Sandra it is like having a nana who all the kids love. They days he doesn't go he still gets his bag ready and tries to go to the door. It shows how much the staff love the kids.

My child has a disability and the centre along with communicare has been incredible with inclusion and accommodating him. Bec, Donna, Jade, Emma and Maddy do an incredible job in his room at communicating with me and including him in play with the other children. Also massive thanks to Amy for constantly figuring out which nursery rhyme he wants and singing it to him when he bails her up outside.

My babies absolutely love coming here my daughter loves her educators Hannah, Georgia and Tiana and my son always talks about Sandra, Corbin and Claudia always greeted hello and goodbye on arrival and departure best centre by far ❤️ and super greatful for how u all treat my babies

The team, including Ashleigh, Bethany, and Amy, has been exemplary in their roles – embodying the very essence of dedicated childcare. Their collective efforts have seamlessly blended professionalism with a personal touch, making every day a comforting experience, even amidst the teary-eyed morning farewells. The educational approach at Nido is thoughtfully curated, balancing structured learning with the freedom for children to explore and grow. The staff's vigilance ensures a safe and secure environment, where respect and understanding of boundaries are instilled from an early age. Our son's journey through learning about safety and respect has been impressive, demonstrating the effective methods employed by the Nido team. Despite the inevitable moments of childhood grumpiness, the staff's proficiency in nurturing and guiding the children through these phases has been remarkable. It is with a mix of gratitude and wistfulness that we prepare to transition away from Nido, as our son steps into the next chapter of his education.
