We have been part of the Nido Early School family for over two years and couldn’t be happier with our experience.<br><br>The current leadership team is fantastic and always takes the time to say hello when arriving and leaving, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Every staff member is friendly, caring, and genuinely invested in the children.<br>Chef Nazwa does an amazing job too – the delicious aromas coming from the kitchen each day are enough to make anyone hungry!<br><br>Classroom 3 has been wonderful, and all of the educators do a great job supporting and nurturing the children. A special mention to Alyssa and Paige, who consistently go above and beyond. Their care, dedication, and genuine connection with the children make such a difference and are truly appreciated.<br><br>Thank you to the entire team for creating such a positive and supportive environment for our children.

This service is deeply disappointing. If you want a centre that genuinely puts children first, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. There have been ongoing health and safety concerns for both children and staff, particularly around a non-functional air conditioning system during extreme heatwaves. This issue has existed for months. Although we were told a contractor attended, the problem was not resolved until months later, exposing children and educators to serious safety risks. My child was left unsupervised in late December in a bathroom however, to my knowledge the quality leader at the time is responsible for over seeing the centre with there being no director. Nido had failed to inform me that a supervision breach happened involving my child at the end of December 2025. What is even more concerning is the conduct of the so-called “Quality Leader”. I personally upon my arrivals picking up my child overheard her making rude and dismissive comments about educators when they were not present, calling them “dramatic” and saying they needed to “suck it up they are being princesses” despite the unsafe heat conditions in particular in January due to the safety and severity I did not continue care for my child. I have also witnessed her speaking disrespectfully to the Admin lady, making discriminatory remarks about people’s appearances, and yelling at staff members while making derogatory comments about colleagues in front of others in the front reception which is concerning in such a public space. The staff turnover at this service has always been extremely high, which speaks volumes about the culture and lack of positive direction. A quality leader should motivate, inspire, and lead by example none of which I observed here as a parent. Children deserve the very best care in a safe, respectful environment. Sadly, this service falls far short. Keep searching.

Went for a tour with my family, was waiting for half an hour at the door in the hot sun with my 8 month old. Staff were very rude and I could hear several kids screaming down the hall awful language when we were let in. Not happy

Thanks Nido secret harbour for always being that friendly face when I need it. From walking in to smiles and a wonderful smell to being greeted with a delicious modern continental breakfast that we refer to as a special breakfast. Thank you for the kindness and compassion during hardship. Thank you for creating a home away from home. We love being part of this wonderful and even stronger community.

After reading all the great reviews I was excited to go have a look at NIDO and possible find my little one a space. However what I’ve found has been very disappointing! The lack of communication, professionalism and organisation is shocking actually. After being told I would hear from the centre by October if there is a space for my little one (I was happy to go on a waiting list or find another centre) I hear nothing from the centre AT all. So I decide to give them a call in late November and I get stuck with having to leave a message and being promised that the manager will call me back, I do this 3 times. I still haven’t heard back from the centre. I’ve found another lovely daycare willing to work with me. NIDO is unprofessional- if you can’t communicate effectively and professionally, if you can’t be organised how are you managing looking after little ones? Definitely will NOT be recommending NIDO Secret Harbour.

I was very upset to arrive and find my daughter crying in the corner, not being consoled, after being bitten once again — by the same child. This has become a repeated issue, and the responses from staff feel scripted rather than genuinely focused on resolving the problem. It’s deeply concerning that multiple children are being bitten several times a week. It’s a real shame, as the educators in the rooms are all genuinely lovely and caring. Unfortunately, the management does not seem to prioritise the children’s wellbeing, which completely undermines the efforts of those educators. If you’re looking for a truly safe and caring environment for your little ones, I’d strongly reconsider this centre.
