Whiz Kids and Whiz Kids Prep Northmead is truely an outstanding place to send my children. It was our first and only childcare experience and we haven’t left because of the amazing care and love the educators show to my children. With childcare’s and preschools at every corner especially where I live, we travel a short distance just so I know my children will be safe and have the most enjoyable time a school. The new preschool has the most inviting and fun space for children and they have great programs and activities for getting all kids ready for school. We couldn’t recommend Whiz Kids enough and that is a testament to how wonderful and experienced the team and educators are!!

One of my greatest passions is teaching children. Each child and I have a secure and trusting relationship. I believe that each child is unique, and as an educator, I will value and develop each child’s unique strengths, interests, skills, abilities, and knowledge to help them learn.
Children, in my opinion, learn through play. I support children to be able to explore, discover, create, and imagine new things, while providing a learning environment that supports children to feel loved and cared for. I strive to include learning opportunities that are safe, positive, enjoyable, and nurture the whole child in all developmental areas to help children reach milestones and pursue their interests while building self-confidence and encouraging a desire to continue learning.

The Whiz Kids program is holistic and encompasses key areas of the children’s learning and development. The programs are:
Whiz Kids Sustainability: through hands-on lessons about recycling and hygiene, the children learn about sustainability practices and caring for the environment.
The Whiz Kids educators value open and honest communication with parents. They know that parents are the most important people in a child’s life and their engagement in their daily activities is critical. To support this, the educators are available to discuss the children’s learning with parents on a regular basis.
The educators use the conversations with parents to support the children’s learning. They start to build connections between home and the centre to enhance the children’s wellbeing and desire to learn.
Parents are also encouraged to get involved in the centre through activities such as cooking. They can participate in cooking experiences alongside the children and even share their family recipes.
Throughout each day, the educators update Kinderloop, the parent communication app, with information such as the children’s nutritional intake. Parents can access this information to feel more connected to their child’s day at Whiz Kids.
Everything is made fresh, on-site daily using a wide variety of foods.
Our daily menu offers the following;
Children are offered milk at morning tea and afternoon tea.
Each service has a qualified chef who uses a seasonal menu to deliver delicious meals for the children.
All of our meals are provided daily, and are nutritionally balanced in line with recommended healthy eating guidelines.
We are an allergy aware service. All of our services are nut free.
We do our best to cater to children’s needs including allergies, anaphylaxis and other dietary requirements.

It really does take a village to raise your babies! And I’m so glad that whiz kidz is apart of mine. My daughter has been there since she was 18 months old and will be transitioning to school next year they have loved, nurtured and supported not only her but me through every stage of her life. They have been incredible with adapting and finding ways to make her as comfortable and as happy as can be especially with her additional care needs.<br>My son has also been apart of the WhizKidz family since he was 7 months old and loves it there. The staff are understanding and extremely easy to talk to about anything you may feel the need to discuss. I will forever be so grateful to have found such a wonderful childcare that is able to provide my kids with all the amazing things and skills they need to thrive as they grow.
