So glad we chose Reddam ELS, St Leonards. From the very beginning, the educators, support staff and the Principal have made my family and child feel so welcome. They're kind, patient, professional and genuinely care about the children, - it's been lovely to experience the community they've built.
The days are fun and engaging for my child and it's clear the educators put a lot of thought into creating a positive learning environment.
The centre is always clean, well maintained, and safe for the children. It also has great indoor and outdoor spaces.
We honestly couldn't ask for a better place for our child and we happily recommend it to any family or locals looking for a caring and supportive daycare.

Our experience with Reddam St Leonard’s has been fantastic. The educators are caring, dedicated, and create such a positive learning environment. We’ve seen so much growth in our child’s confidence and development, and we’re so grateful for the support and care they receive every day. Highly recommend!

Truly a wonderful, nurturing environment. Our daughter has loved her time at the ELS, the Educators are such a special group.
We have felt supported by the Principal and staff at all occasions - our little boy will start in January and his sister is excited to share her favourite teachers with him. There is nowhere like Reddam on the North Shore.

Unfortunately, what was once a place my child loved changed after the departure of previous principal and her teacher in Stage1E. Our experience become distressing, and I want to share some of the issues we faced. I began noticing changes in my daughter's behaviour. She would suddenly say things like "Don't touch me" or "Santa Claus, don’t touch me". At the playground, she become very distressed if a male tried to help or carry her, often running away crying. Her anxiety increased noticeably whenever we were heading to Reddam, she cried at drop-off and pick-up, and eventually resisted leaving home, which was concerning because in the previous year she had loved going and was always happy o stay longer. Other issues we experienced included: * Regression in toilet training, although fully potty trained at 2 years old, she began having frequent accidents and had to return to nappies. * Forced nap time, despite not napping since 4 months old, she was required to lie down for 1.5 to 2 hours daily. * Unexplained injuries, she came home with scratches on her face on three consecutives occasions. The 1st time, I was told another child scratched her while washing hands. the next two times, no staff could explain what had happened. * Concerning staff behaviour, once, a new staff member told my daughter, "I see you don't want to stay here. I don't want to be here either, but what can we do?". On another occasion, I saw a teacher giving my daughter an upsetting look while she was lying on the floor quietly in a fetal position. These experiences left me feeling that the environment was no longer safe or supportive for my daughter, and ultimately decided to withdraw her from the centre.

Although the environment is new, the Educators are very disappointing, very indifferent and lacking in love. I really don't understand why we hire someone who doesn't love children to take care of them. Our children are not cared for and taken care of here. If you go on a tour, you will feel that there is no love here!
