This centre is fantastic. All staff are wonderful, my 15 month old loves it there and I feel like he is truly in safe caring hands. The staff and management are very approachable and happy to chat or answer questions.

Miss Rhay is the best honestly, the difference the childcare has made in my son is amazing. The efforts she takes in helping kids learn and grow is amazing. My kid is excited to go to daycare where it is a home away from home.

My daughter Giuliana has been going to both ‘Before’, ‘After’, and ‘Vacation’ Care at ‘Good Shepherd’ for the past four years and for this whole time I have nothing but praise and respect for the amazing staff that work there. Each morning when I arrive to drop off my daughter I’m greeted with a smiling happy ‘good morning’ from ‘Melissa’ at the front desk and then get upstairs where my daughter and I are greeted by the carers on the day. Great security is in place with electronic tag needed in every step of entry and a great online website ‘Xplor Home’ that you can use to log your child in/out or if your not tech savvy you can log in/manually on their iPads. Definitely recommend ‘Good Shepherd Child Care Services.

About Good Shepherd Child Care Services, Springfield Lakes

Good Shepherd Child Care Services, Springfield Lakes

Watch them grow

At Good Shepherd Child Care Services our aim is to help your child grow and blossom. The early years of education and care are the foundation for every child’s future. We see these years as an opportunity to instil in children a love of learning and self-discovery that will continue to develop through their further education. In this way we share the aspirations of all families to watch their children grow.

We run a long day care centre, kindergarten and outside school hours care service, caring for children from 6 weeks of age to primary school aged. We offer a Queensland Government approved kindergarten program for children in the year before prep. Our kindergarten program is taught by a university qualified early childhood teacher and focuses on teaching your child foundational literacy, numeracy and science skills.

We are conveniently located at Good Shepherd Primary School and your child will benefit from our close relationship with the school.

Watch them grow individually

Children have a lot in common, but it’s the sparks of individuality that often shine a light on how they learn and how we can best help them grow. Our educators are committed to getting to know your child and family so we can create programs which reflect your child’s talents and interests and help them develop new skills.

Does your child have a special interest or hobby? Our educators will look for ways to incorporate this in our programs during outdoor play, in our home corner or art and music rooms or by encouraging them to share it with their friends during show and share.

Watch them grow creatively

Children use creativity and curiosity as tools to explore and learn about the world. Our educators provide an environment that captures their imagination and encourages children to express themselves.

Does your child have dramatic flare? In our dramatic play spaces or ‘home corners’ children can take on a new role every day with their friends running a shop, doctor’s surgery or mechanics garage.

Does your child love to paint and draw? In our dedicated art room resources are all kept at the children’s height and have been carefully selected to trigger exploration. Children are able to explore their creativity in new ways by, mixing their own paint colours and finding new and creative ways to use the leaves, pipe cleaners, playdough and other resources.

At Good Shepherd Child Care Services we are committed to getting to know your child and family so we can create programs which reflect your child’s talents and interests and capture their imagination.
