Hands down best Kindy in the area! The Kindy educators go above and beyond not only to educate but also to love and bond with the children and their families. The Kindy has such a family feel to it, we always feel welcomed and a sense of belonging. Being on the school grounds our kids have loved being able to be included in school events such as book week and cross country. They have loved going to the school library and visiting the prep class rooms. Going to school has been such a smooth transition because of the wonderful educators at St Mary’s Kindy.

A wonderful kindy in every way! Beautiful staff who genuinely care and support the children. A lovely (and clean) kindy room with a variety of activities that are always changing for the children, so everyday is exciting for them. We could not be happier sending our little one to St Marys Kindy. We know she is cared for, safe, supported, encouraged and provided the opportunity to learn everyday.
Conveniently located at St Mary’s Primary School, your child will benefit from our close relationship with the school. The children enjoy weekly visits to the school library, prep classrooms and the school playgrounds. Our visits to the school also include events such as under 8’s day and the Book Week Parade. During each visit your child will become more familiar with the school grounds and learn new skills such as how to use the water bubblers. Our educators will watch your child’s confidence grow as they become part of our broader school and parish community and prepare for school.
As a participant in the government’s play- based STEM program your child will explore early science, technology, engineering and mathematics concepts every day. This program helps children develop an understanding of and question things in the world around them and build their teamwork skills.
At St Mary’s we offer a Queensland Government approved kindergarten program taught by a university qualified early childhood teacher. As a sessional kindergarten children complete a five-day fortnight, during school hours and school terms. St Mary’s currently runs one kindergarten program with children attending Monday, Tuesday and every second Wednesday.
