We have loved the nursery room at MJEEC for our little one. The educators are amazing and go above and beyond to care for the kids. My boy adapted so easily and has been very happy there. 10/10 experience, highly reccommend.

It is an absolute pleasure to recommend this wonderful preschool. I regularly visit in my role as a Speech Pathologist, and I am consistently impressed by the warmth, care and genuinely individualised approach of the entire team.<br><br>From Lauren, the Director, to the educators and other invaluable staff, there is a clear sense that every person is deeply invested in the children and families they support. What particularly stands out is the preschool’s focus on the whole child—prioritising not only developmental skills, but also each child’s confidence, wellbeing, emotional security and sense of belonging.<br><br>Lauren and the educators demonstrate an exceptional eagerness to continually expand their knowledge across key areas of child development. They are highly receptive to collaboration and consistently seek to deepen their understanding of communication and language development, sensory regulation, emotional development and individual learning needs. As a Speech Pathologist, it is wonderful to work alongside a team that is so engaged, reflective and committed to incorporating strategies into children’s everyday experiences.<br><br>It is very clear that the children here are genuinely known, valued and cared for as individuals. First attended when my eldest was 2yo after moving from another daycare, and now my youngest is 2yo attending here. Privately owned centre, long term carers, and such a loving and welcoming environment - it really feels like a second family to us! Our children are very happy attending here.<br><br>The playground is huge and kids are encouraged to play outside in the open air. The carers are nurturing and caring, knowing each individual children in great detail. The nursery room has their own private outdoor playground so they don't mix with the bigger kids.<br><br>The food is cooked in-house everyday, my picky kid loves the meals they serve. There's a lot of interaction with food too, like making own pizza or sandwiches. Would definitely recommend Lauren and MJEEC!

MJEEC is an incredible daycare with such caring and amazing educators. We've been part of MJEEC for the past 5+ years, and they feel like a second family to us. They provide great care, and its been such a warm and nurturing place for our kids to grow and learn. We would highly recommend!

MJEEC has been such a beautiful find for our family. What strikes me most is how genuinely happy the children are when you walk in. There is always music playing, artwork everywhere and kids completely absorbed in what they are doing. The outdoor space is fantastic and you can tell the educators put real effort into making every day interesting and fun. My son absolutely loves it there and that joy he has going in each morning tells me everything I need to know. So grateful we found this special place hidden in the heart of Maroubra .

We’ve had both our girls go through Maroubra Junction Early Education Centre, starting from the nursery right through to preschool, with our youngest finishing last year. Looking back, we’re just really grateful for the whole experience. What stood out for us was the learning side of things. Both girls started school feeling confident and settled, and we honestly think that comes down to the strong foundations they got at the centre. The early literacy focus was amazing, they were already blending sounds and starting to read before school, which gave them such a great start. It’s not just what they learn, but how it’s done. The environment is so supportive and encouraging, and that really shows in the kids. We’re so thankful to the team at MJEEC for everything they’ve done for our girls. If you’re in Maroubra and looking for a great childcare or preschool, I’d definitely recommend it.

Enrolling our toddler at MJEEC was honestly the best decision we made as a family. From the very first week the educators took the time to learn his little quirks, his favourite toys and his daily routine. That personal attention and genuine care is what truly sets this early learning centre apart from others we looked at. The toddler program is engaging, age appropriate and you can see real thought has gone into how the day is structured. He went from clinging at drop-off to running through the door every single morning, which says everything. As a parent that transition gave me so much peace of mind. We could not recommend MJEEC highly enough.

After looking at a few centres in the area, MJEEC stood out straight away. It doesn’t feel like a big corporate centre. The team is consistent, experienced, and actually takes the time to build relationships with both the children and families. The school readiness program has been a big highlight for us. Our child has gained so much confidence and independence. You can see the difference when educators have been there long term. It creates a really stable and secure environment.

As first time parents, we had no idea what we were doing with toilet training and it definitely felt a bit overwhelming at the start. It was a bit of a struggle at home, but the team at Maroubra Junction Early Education Centre made such a difference. They were so patient and consistent and just made it all feel way more manageable. They kept us in the loop so we could do the same at home, and it never felt rushed or pressured. Honestly took so much stress off us, and we got there in the end without it turning into a big drama. So grateful to have this kind of support from a childcare centre in Maroubra.
