As first time parents, we had no idea what we were doing with toilet training and it definitely felt a bit overwhelming at the start. It was a bit of a struggle at home, but the team at Maroubra Junction Early Education Centre made such a difference. They were so patient and consistent and just made it all feel way more manageable. They kept us in the loop so we could do the same at home, and it never felt rushed or pressured. Honestly took so much stress off us, and we got there in the end without it turning into a big drama. So grateful to have this kind of support from a childcare centre in Maroubra.

As a parent of a very energetic little boy, this centre has been amazing for us. He needs space to move and burn energy, and the outdoor area here is honestly one of the best I’ve seen, especially the sandpit. He could stay there all day digging and building. It’s made such a difference to his day, he comes home happy, calm and properly tired. So glad we found a place that really gets active kids.

My son is in Year 5 this year and we recently bumped into Lauren with him, and he still remembered her and Mariam who has been there forever. It was so special to see that connection still there all these years later. It really shows the impact they have on the children, not just while they’re there but long after they leave. MJEEC is such a special place.

We were honestly really anxious about starting daycare, but from the very beginning the orientation made everything feel smooth and reassuring. Being able to come in beforehand and slowly help my child settle made such a difference. I never felt rushed, and the educators were so understanding. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Maroubra Junction Early Education Centre. It’s a privately owned, family-like centre right in the heart of Maroubra Junction, and you can genuinely feel the difference. The educators treat the children as if they were their own. When I walk out each day, I have no hesitation leaving my child there. I completely trust the staff and the leadership, which gives us real peace of mind. I don’t usually write reviews, but we are so grateful for the experience we’ve had here. If you’re looking for a centre where your child is truly cared for, this is it.

We've had such lovely experience at Maroubra Junction Early Education Centre. One of the standout things for us is the food. the meals prepared by the centre chef are absolutely incredible. as you walk in, it smells so good it honestly makes you want to stay for lunch. My child was a very fussy eater before starting, and since attending has become much more open to trying new foods, which has been amazing to see. it's such a warm, caring environment and we couldn't be happier.

My son attended MJEEC and we had a wonderful experience. The educators are caring, supportive, and truly dedicated to the children. He always felt safe and happy there, and we could see how much he was learning and growing. We especially loved the fun seasonal events and the international celebrations, which made the experience even more special. The staff were always quick to respond whenever we had any questions, and they were consistently friendly and happy. Everything about this centre was wonderful. We are very grateful to the team and highly recommend MJEEC. It’s the best centre in Maroubra.

What we really love about Maroubra Junction Early Education Centre is the leadership. Lauren, the owner and director, is incredibly hands-on. She is always at the centre and genuinely knows every child and family so well, which is something you don’t often see. There is a real sense of care and passion that comes from her involvement, and it flows through the whole team. Having such strong, present leadership makes the centre feel very special and gives us a lot of confidence as parents. You can tell this is more than just a job, it’s something she truly cares about, and it shows in everything they do.
