My wife and I are so grateful for the Platypus team and all the effort they have put into understanding, supporting and engaging with our son. They are genuinely the most lovely, caring team and have really gone above and beyond. The team does an amazing job creating a fun and nurturing space for all the kids and you can tell they really care about giving every child the best experience possible. If only there was a Platypus Primary or Platypus High!

Amazing centre!!! The staff were all so kind, friendly and passionate about early childhood education. I sent my son here and found it such a warm and supportive environment. My son loved attending the centre which made drop offs easy. If he was ever feeling overwhelmed or having a bad day the staff would always provide me updates and create a safe and positive environment for him. Would recommend!!!

Both my boys have gone through here and they loved it! Staff are absolutely amazing! My nephew also attends this centre and has additional needs. They have done a fabulous job at supporting him. Would highly recommend.

We’ve had such an amazing experience with Platypus Kinda. The staff are incredibly professional, warm, and genuinely care about the children. From the moment we walk in each day, we’re greeted with friendly faces and a welcoming environment that makes both parents and kids feel comfortable. The educators do such a wonderful job creating a fun, safe, and nurturing space where the children can learn, play, and grow. It’s clear they put so much thought into the activities and development of each child. I always feel confident leaving my child here knowing they are in such caring and capable hands. Highly recommend to any families looking for a supportive and high-quality daycare/preschool!

I have had all 3 of my daughters cared for by the team at platypus daycare. Nicole, Tayla and the team go above and beyond to nuture and educate at every opportunity. The daily activities and play based learning is so inspiring. Each day you arrive the room is clean and fresh, new stations where the kids can find fun imaginative play. The food that is cooked fresh everyday is so nutritous and got my girls trying new foods and coming home requesting curried sausages like Steph's! I honestly can't fault a thing about the location and team there and if you are looking for someone to love and care for your child while you work during the day, this is hands down the only place I would reccomend. My sister's 2 kids also came here and had the same experience! Thankyou to the beautiful team for being excellent at what you do.

Our experience with this centre was extremely disappointing in how they supported a child with additional needs. From the start, it was clear that my child required additional understanding and support. I sought guidance from a professional behaviour practitioner and shared recommended strategies to help him regulate and participate in care. Unfortunately, these strategies were not implemented, and his needs within the environment were not adequately understood or supported. Importantly, these behaviours were not observed to the same extent at home or in his previous day care indicating they arose from the environment rather than the child. Rather than a structured behaviour support approach, the centre progressively reduced his attendance. Despite my attempts to work collaboratively, a formal behaviour support plan was never implemented. Over time, it became evident that frustration from management was being directed at the situation, and at times at my child, which was deeply concerning given his need for patience and support. Families whose children have behavioural, sensory, or developmental needs should carefully consider whether this centre has the experience, resources, and willingness to implement genuine inclusion supports before enrolling.

Loving and caring Pre-school, our family love the educator's and have nothing but good things to say about them. The centre has a real family feel and wouldn’t want my kids going anywhere else.

A great team of educators that are genuine and caring towards the children’s well-being. The meals provided are also one of the best when compared to other services.

Small centre gives a nice homely feel, educators are very caring, friendly and knowledgeable. Fully catered meals each day which my daughter always enjoys. Large outdoor environment for the children to play.
