One of the worst centres we have ever been to, very poorly managed, the new owners are worse than the previous ones, they consistently overcharge and everytime we go to the office to ask why they say it’s the head office we can’t do nothing about it huh!! No one seems to know what they are doing, not to mension changing educators all the time just to save afew dollars in wages which does not help children settle, STAY AWAY

Went in for a tour, and was extremely disappointed. The lady leading the tour seemed unsure what room my 2.5 year old would be in, offering both the 0-2 and 2-3 year old room which I found odd as he would obviously be in the 2-3 room. They simply throw the key term ‘Montessori’ throughout the whole tour but I did not see any of it really embedded. We walked into the room and to say it was chaotic was an understatement. Two children left unsupervised in the bathrooms playing, a very small space for over 20 children and alarmingly only 3 teachers. I’m aware it’s mandatory for this age group to have a 1 teacher to 5 students ratio which was unfortunately not adhered to. I questioned her what the ratio was and she said 1:5. I brought it to her attention that she is 1 teacher short, she seemed frazzled, agreed with me and went to another teacher asked a few questions and came back to confirm it’s a 1:10 ratio which is completely untrue. I voiced my concerns about the lack of supervision and she agreed and recommended I go to the Gregory hill branch as they are more ‘established’. I cut the tour short and will never send my child to any Montessori academy’s. This centre clearly does not value safety, is all about filling the centre at the cost of students and clearly do not know mandatory requirements or simply do not care.

Jenny’s Kindergarten Emerald Hills started off well. Our son settled in quickly, the rooms are clean and spacious. We liked that children could interact during morning drop off and backyard play, which helped staff get to know him. However, there was significant educator and management turnover, poor communication about our son’s development, and inconsistent updates. I followed up on an incident report and management never responded. Events were often unorganised and the decision not to reopen our son’s room caused major inconvenience for working parents. As a result, we made the decision to withdraw our son from Jenny’s Kindergarten.

When the centre first opened it was amazing I have been there from day one since they Opened their doors. Never had one single issue and management was amazing and educators were consistent and amazing. Now the new management (Samantha)has taken over the centre is going down hill. The recent closure of two rooms has been alarming and unsettling for many families. Also the kids who r going to school are forced to stay home till February as no centre will take them on now. Leaving the kids bored at home. They stated the rooms will be closed for 2 weeks and will re open as they needed to retrain staff. Now with little notice the rooms have closed completely. Also I’ve noticed that access to OWNA has been deleted without any communication. My advice is if u r reading this do not enroll your children here there is many issues and that’s clear in staff turn over and closing of the rooms. It’s a big shame because this centre is absolutely amazing building wise and structure but unfortunately in the wrong hands it has been detrimental to them and has been there down fall!!!! I would like to mention none of their staff are trained in additional needs or have any experience which now a days many kids have additional needs and staff need to be trained not simply call parents to collect children when the going gets hard. I have one more child left that will eventually need childcare and I will never ever look at this centre as a possibility when the time comes. Other parents there are so many other centres being built please have a look don’t let the big building and nice appearances fool you. Very disappointing I have to write this review as I was once very happy with this centre. Jenny’s plz hire management and staff who r capable and able to uplift this centre to ensure it can operate to its full strength and capacity

Our experience with Jenny’s Kindergarten has been deeply concerning. This centre is not inclusive of children with additional needs, despite presenting itself as though it is. The support offered is superficial, inconsistent, and reflects a lack of genuine understanding or willingness to accommodate children who require additional assistance. Communication is consistently poor. Instead of accepting responsibility, the new management team is trying to position themselves as the “new guard,” deflecting blame onto previous management and former staff for the ongoing issues. Given the recent closures of the Gregory Hills and Lane Cove Jenny’s Kindergartens, it is clear these problems are systemic across the organisation, not isolated to one centre. The turnover of educators is alarming. It feels like a constant revolving door, with many of the capable and caring staff leaving. This instability is unsettling for children and indicative of deeper internal issues. Frequent changes in management have only added to the confusion, inconsistency, and lack of direction. I do want to acknowledge the incredible educators and staff who remain and genuinely care about the children, Renae, Div, Jess, Monica, Tanya, Donna, Mansi, Kayte, Tiana and Taylah. They continue to show commitment despite the turmoil around them, and their effort deserves recognition. Unfortunately, the overall environment, poor leadership, systemic issues, lack of inclusivity, and relentless staff turnover make this centre a highly unsuitable option. In my view, it is best avoided.

Both my children go to the centre and have done since opening last year. Both have been very happy and enjoy attending. The staff are friendly and tentative. They have always listened to any feedback provided. One activity my eldest absolutely loves and looks forward to each week is the happy feet fitness program. Each week is always exciting and can’t wait to tell me all about it. Would highly recommend the centre

Pathetic provider don’t trust this place

I am writing to express my concern regarding the way my account and CCS application have been managed. From the very beginning, I submitted all the required documents and information, and I was reassured multiple times that the CCS would cover the majority of the fees. However, each time I visited or asked about the payment details, I was given unclear or delayed responses. Despite my repeated confirmation that Centrelink would be paying the larger portion, I was recently surprised to receive an email requesting that I pay the full amount — which is over $800. This is a very large amount for me, and it was never communicated to me in a clear and timely manner that this would be the case. In my view, these matters should have been properly arranged and clarified before enrollment. Unfortunately, I also noticed on the very first day that the center seemed disorganized, and I was unable to find anyone who could clearly explain the process or give me accurate information. I was always told that the amount would be adjusted after CCS, which turned out not to be the case. Due to this ongoing lack of clarity and organization, I have decided to immediately withdraw my child from the center. In the end i will paid the full amount $815.00 for 5 days only she attended 4h only !!!! I hope you take this feedback seriously and improve your processes for future families.

Our son has been attending Jennys for the past six months, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very first day, the educators made him feel comfortable, welcomed, and excited to come in every morning. It’s been amazing to see how much he’s grown in confidence, independence, and social skills since joining. The teachers are genuinely caring and attentive, they take the time to understand each child’s personality and learning style. We love the thoughtful updates we receive throughout the week, which show just how much fun he’s having while learning through play. The centre itself is always clean, safe, and well-organised, with a great balance of indoor and outdoor activities. Our son comes home every day talking about his friends, the songs they sang, and the creative projects they worked on. It’s clear that the team puts a lot of heart into everything they do. We feel so lucky to have found Jennys - it truly feels like a second home for our little one. Highly recommend it to any parent looking for a nurturing, engaging, and supportive early learning environment.

Both of my kids go here, my kids haven’t been happier, staff are friendly and my kids are happy which is what is most important. They take excellent care of the kids and for once my kids are happy to attend Kindy.
