We moved to Sagewood Early Learning Joondalup from another centre, and the difference is honestly incredible. From the very early days, we noticed how happy, engaged, and relaxed the children are here — including our own. The environment feels calm and nurturing, yet full of curiosity and creativity thanks to its Montessori approach. The educators are genuinely caring and attentive, taking the time to get to know each child and support them as individuals. Management is very approachable and always happy to help with any question or concern, which makes us feel supported as parents. Our little one has blossomed since joining Sagewood — her confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for learning have grown so much. Sagewood truly sets the standard for what early learning should be. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sagewood Joondalup is a wonderful Montessori daycare with caring, friendly staff who truly support each child’s development. I love that they teach protective behaviours ( Safe for kids program) and emotional literacy (ELMA) – my child is learning to understand feelings, stay safe, and speak up with confidence. It’s more than just childcare – it’s giving children skills for life. They offer the opportunity for parents to come in to do observations of your child's learning and have interactive activities for mothers day etc.

From the moment we toured this daycare, we knew it was something unique. The environment is calm, nurturing, and genuinely child-focused. It’s clear that the well-being of the children comes first in everything they do. The staff go above and beyond—not just for the children, but for the families as well. They’re always willing to help with anything, no matter how big or small, and their warmth and support make all the difference. Our son had always found drop-offs difficult, but the team worked patiently and compassionately to help him feel safe, secure, and settled. We noticed a huge change in his confidence and comfort thanks to their care. Communication is outstanding. We always feel informed, included, and confident that our child is being truly looked after. Having experienced other daycares in the past, this one stands out as something entirely different. It’s not just a child-minding service—it’s a place where children and their families are genuinely cared for.

Once a 5 Star Centre, Now a Shadow of Its Former Self Sagewood Joondalup was an amazing centre. Warm, nurturing, and filled with passionate educators who genuinely cared and knew every child and parent by name. It was a place our kids loved going to. They felt safe, happy, and excited to learn. But sadly, that Sagewood is gone. Over a short period, the entire original leadership team and almost all of the long standing educators left. Many all at once. There was no communication from management to parents about what was going on. No reassurance. Nothing. What followed was a constant stream of new staff, many of whom didn’t know who the children or their parents were, which raised serious safety concerns. Especially around the sign out process. Then, within days of the leadership change, a skip bin appeared in the car park and was quickly filled with Montessori materials that had been central to the centre’s philosophy. Again, no communication. No explanation. Just silence. It didn’t exactly fill parents with confidence or peace of mind. Naturally, parents had questions. We wanted to know what was happening to the centre we trusted with our children. But instead of transparency, we were met with dismissal. Concerns were brushed off, and when parents tried to speak up, a message from the COO was sent out telling us to stop gossiping. That tone, the contempt and disregard for genuine parental concern, was the final straw. Many of us witnessed bullying behaviour from the new management. Honestly, it seemed to start from the top. It created an environment that no longer felt safe or nurturing for our kids. The love and care that once defined Sagewood was gone. I really hope the Sagewood board takes notice and steps in to fix what is broken. This centre was something special, and it can be again. But only if the problomatic leadership is addressed. Because at the end of the day, it should be about the kids.

So happy with this lovely Montessori daycare. My baby 17 month old is so happy and learning new things very fast. Teachers are so professional and empathic with babies❣️ Recommend 💯

Amazing daycare and teachers. We are so sad our daughter has to leave Sagewood as she is starting school. She loved the teachers and Montessori activities there. It’s a very organised and peaceful environment. We highly recommend this daycare!

My son has been part of the Sagewood Joondalup family since just before his second birthday. Out of the three daycare centres we've experienced, Sagewood stood out as truly exceptional. I couldn't stop singing their praises to anyone who would listen. Their commitment to open and honest communication, alongside actively involving parents in the rhythm of the centre, was remarkable. The leadership was outstanding, and the staff were not only highly experienced but also dedicated caregivers, many of them mothers themselves—bringing a sense of comfort and consistency. Regrettably, I find myself in the difficult position of no longer being able to give them the glowing review they once deserved. The centre has undergone significant changes, with a high turnover rate in both management and classroom staff. Long-standing, trusted members of the team have left suddenly and unexpectedly. While I don’t know the reasons behind this shift, it has noticeably impacted the environment at the centre and, most importantly, the children. My son began to experience anxiety about attending Sagewood, which was heart-wrenching to witness. After some of the other mothers who are friends with us spoke to the owner about some of the concerns she came across as very defensive and rude. Although I had hoped he could finish the year there, his well-being and happiness come first. We’ve since moved him to a different daycare, but it is bittersweet to leave what was once a truly outstanding daycare centre. I hope Sagewood can find its way back to being the nurturing and stable environment that made it so special.

We’ve been with Sagewood Joondalup for a while now, (4 years with two children) and even though there have been some changes in management recently, we’re happy to say that things have only improved. The new leadership has brought fresh energy, clear communication, and a real focus on creating the best environment for the children. I was nervous at first but the staff remain as caring and dedicated as ever, and we’ve noticed even more structure, creativity in activities, and attention to each child’s individual needs. Our child continues to thrive here—always excited to go in the morning and full of joy when we pick them up. The transition was handled smoothly, and it’s clear that the new team is passionate about maintaining a high standard of care. We feel confident and reassured knowing our child is in such good hands.

My children are attending sagewood Joondalup and they have been great! They offer a fantastic Montessori-based environment where children are encouraged to learn at their own pace. The management is highly involved, ensuring the children are happy and supported, which creates such a positive atmosphere. A great choice for families seeking quality care and education.

Both of my girls started in Bambini and both felt instantly comfortable with the staff there. My youngest is currently in Bambini and she knew the teachers names from the second week. She loves going and will always ask to see Didi or Abbie. They made her feel so comfortable & safe in an environment without her mum around and that made me feel so much more comfortable when dropping her off. Thank you for helping my girls grow & learn.
