We’ve been part of the Journey Whittlesea community for around 7 years now, with all three of our kids attending at different stages. In that amount of time we’ve obviously seen lots of changes, different educators and had lots of different experiences, but one person I really want to acknowledge is Alana, the Centre Director.<br><br>Alana genuinely cares about the centre, the children and the families. She is approachable, understanding and always willing to listen, and I really appreciate how much effort she puts into making sure concerns are heard and things are followed up.<br><br>Our girls are there now and we’ve been especially grateful for the support our eldest daughter has received with her speech and development, and for the patience and care shown to our baby girl while she settled into childcare. It means a lot being able to leave your kids somewhere knowing that the people looking after them actually know them and care about how they’re doing.<br><br>After being part of Journey for so many years, I know how much strong leadership can shape a centre. Alana deserves recognition for everything she does for the children and families, and we’re also incredibly grateful to the educators who care for our girls each day. Even after some educators over the years have left they still stay in touch and check in on our family. We’ve made such special genuine relationships with so many wonderful educators. Thank you, Alana, and the whole team, for everything you do ❤️

Journey Early Learning Whittlesea has some of the most attentive and supportive staff. They helped my son transition effortlessly, within the month he was settled in, comfortable and much more confident in his abilities. They’re a great team!

I have had an amazing expirience with both my children at journey whittlesea. I was really not looking forward to my kids being in care and had alot of mum guilt but these guys have made our lives sooo much easier im so greatful

We recently attended the orientation day at Journey for our 3-year-old daughter, and we were so impressed with how everything was run. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and clearly passionate about creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for the children. Our daughter felt comfortable almost immediately, which says a lot about the gentle and thoughtful approach of the educators. The activities were age-appropriate and engaging, and it was lovely to see how the children were encouraged to explore at their own pace. The facilities were clean, bright, and well-organized, with a wonderful range of toys, books, and play areas. We left feeling confident and reassured that our daughter will be in excellent hands. It’s clear that this centre truly understands the importance of early childhood education and emotional development. We’re so happy to have found such a caring place for her to begin her learning journey. Highly recommend!

An excellent service with dedicated, caring staff and lots of amazing spaces for play and learning. If you visit you can see how much the children enjoy being there and their great relationships with all the staff. Highly recommended.
