Hocking Stars Early Learning Centre is a caring, stimulating, innovative and enriching environment that fosters a child's natural curiosity and thirst for knowledge. The environment and program draw from the very best early childhood theories and practices, with strong emphasis on the Early Years Learning Framework and inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach. Along with a purposeful experience, it establishes in every child a love of learning and a strong sense of self.
We act as an extension of home and provide an environment where children feel loved, accepted and secure, as well as being a place where children are encouraged to achieve their best socially, emotionally and academically. We have a moral and social obligation to the children, their families and the greater community to provide a core foundation that will support and inspire them to become active members of the community.
It is our belief that when children, educators and families form secure connections, it will create a positively unique atmosphere that will undeniably be recognised as that of Hocking Stars Early Learning Centre. We hope to initiate a profound connection that will sustain over the years and produce many warm and fond memories for all.
Hocking Stars Early Learning Centres both have an open-door policy, so we welcome all to come in any day or time during our opening hours for a tour, preferable after 9:30am to avoid the rush in the mornings of drop offs.
We have a centre situated at 1 Turin Entrance, Hocking and our sister centre situated at 4 Gungurru Avenue, Hocking.
We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into the Hocking Stars Family!
