I've had 3 boys all attend this centre over the last 8 years. Over this time yes staff have come and gone and the centre changed management. These changes were handled beautifully and professionally we absolutely adore all the staff.<br><br>My youngest calls one educator his 2nd mummy. He hugs all his teachers before he leaves everyday. He has made some of the strongest friendships here with both kids and educators. He finishes his child care journey at the end of the year.<br><br>The effort and love I see each educator give each child is beautiful, they are all caring and all excell in the industry. I believe pico is the best child care in victoria. They really help each child grow and become the sweetest little people around.<br><br>If you are going to look at child care centres please put this one on your list, you will want to see your child grow here. Its an amazing place for the kids. They dont use much technology unless it's a wet day and its all child friendly and educational.

Pico was one of the second out of 5 childcare centres we visited while we were looking to send our daughter, I was super super nervous leaving her with unfamiliar people but Pico made us feel safe and being a privately owned Childcare centre made us feel more at ease knowing it wasn’t just another number to them.<br>My daughter has an allergy and Pico made it so easy and clear that they take allergies seriously and cater to all child’s needs and I can 100% clarify they are true to their words.<br>My daughter is now 2 and she is the youngest in the toddler room she loves her educators loves the amazing Chef (food to her heart) and all the staff make my life at ease when it’s hard to leave her in the morning because they have warmness in all of them and I know she is safe and loved while she is there<br>Thank you girls 💕<br>So glad we chose PICO

My daughter has been attending this childcare since the toddler room and is now in the 4-year-old kindergarten program. She absolutely loves going every day and is always happy there. The staff are incredibly caring and friendly, and the facilities are excellent. We highly recommend this childcare to other families.

From the moment my son started at PICO in the Nursery room, I knew we had found somewhere special. Leaving your child with someone else for the first time is never easy, but every educator made that transition so much easier with their kindness, patience and genuine care. Watching my son grow from a little baby in Nursery into the happy, confident little boy he is today has been so special. PICO has played such a big part in that. Every educator has encouraged him, supported him and celebrated every milestone along the way. It is such a comforting feeling knowing he is in an environment where he feels safe, happy and excited to learn each day. One of the things I appreciate most is how friendly every single educator is. Every morning we are greeted with a smile, everyone takes the time to say hello, and you can genuinely see how much they care about each child. It really does feel like one big family. A special thank you to the wonderful Chef. Thank you for putting so much thought and care into preparing healthy and delicious meals for the children. It gives parents such peace of mind knowing our children are being so well looked after. To his kindergarten teacher and all of the educators, thank you for your patience, encouragement, creativity and dedication. You have helped my son build confidence, become more independent and develop such a love for learning. Those are gifts that will stay with him for many years to come. Thank you to the entire PICO team for everything you do. The care, support and kindness you show every day never goes unnoticed. We are so grateful that our son has been able to grow up surrounded by such wonderful people. I couldn’t recommend PICO more highly to any family looking for an early learning centre where their child will be genuinely cared for and encouraged to thrive.

Having recently photographed this centre I can't speak highly enough of them. The staff are so incredibly welcoming and are so attentive and familiar with each child and their needs. Was such a pleasure to spend time in your space full of such happy faces.

What a difference a privately owned centre makes compared to the larger franchised ones. My son has anxiety so I was naturally worried about him starting somewhere new. After doing the tour with the director I felt such a sense of peace and I just knew he would be okay even if the transition was going to be a bit hard. I was blown away by how well he settled in and how quickly he formed friendships and genuine bonds with the educators. That alone says so much about their kindness, patience and experience. He is neurodivergent and has already overcome so many little challenges and I appreciate the beautiful photo updates more than I can say. As parents we miss so much while they are at day care so being able to see these moments and keep them forever is so meaningful. Seeing him smiling, joining in and hitting milestones is something I treasure. Every night before bed we chat about his day and the memories he shares are always so wholesome and happy. The educators truly care and I always feel comfortable confiding in them about anything we are working through at home. They go above and beyond to support him and always make the effort to work with me. I love that the educators know all the kids and parents even if they’re from different rooms. It feels like a real community. It is such a beautiful centre and I am so glad we found this hidden gem. It has been the best decision for my son.

Since the new management took over in January, the centre has gone from strength to strength. Communication has been fantastic — we’re always kept in the loop about any changes, and everything is handled in such a professional and transparent way. The educators are consistent, nurturing, and genuinely care about the children. I always feel completely at ease leaving my child in their care. The extra programs included in the fees, like sport and music are such a wonderful addition. My child looks forward to those sessions every week, and it’s great to see them developing new skills and confidence in a fun, engaging environment. Overall, we couldn’t be happier. The centre has such a warm and positive atmosphere, and it’s clear the team truly love what they do. Highly recommend to any family looking for quality care and great communication.

Overall a caring centre but the children often spend a lot of time watching the screen instead of engaging in activities. There are no daily updates or photos about what they’ve done or learned. You never see anyone at the reception desk and the director is never there.
