Nursery 1 – 6 Weeks to 12 Months
Our childcare program at Precious Seeds Early Learning Centre Hallam supports your baby’s growth and development through a variety of activities that promote essential sensory exploration, enhancing cognitive and motor skills.
Carefully designed with safety features, age-appropriate toys, and furniture, our nursery offers a cosy and secure environment where your baby can learn about the world freely.

Nursery 2 – 6 Weeks to 12 Months
In our nursery room, your baby will enjoy a range of activities, including playing with soft toys, exploring different textures, creating arts and crafts, and engaging in tummy time, mirror play, music listening, story time, outdoor play, and food experiences.
By promoting sensory exploration, we support your baby’s growth and development. Our caring staff nurtures the wonder babies exhibit, encouraging them to explore and develop curiosity about their world. Through sensory activities, music, and visuals, our nursery children begin to reach their early milestones.
Toddlers 1 – 1 to 2 Years
At Precious Seeds Early Learning Centre, our childcare centre provides a safe and fun environment for toddlers to explore. At this stage, little ones are constantly on the move, learning and discovering new things every day.
Our toddler classroom is designed with young explorers in mind. We focus on each child’s interests to nurture their curiosity and growth. Our trained educators foster independence while promoting social and emotional well-being, preparing toddlers to use self-help skills and enhance their imagination.
A structured daily rhythm is established, including story time, group activities, meals and snacks, outdoor play, naps, and, most importantly, plenty of playtime.
The toddler room is a special space where books and toys are easily accessible for little hands. This setup allows children to kick off story time independently without waiting for an adult to bring a book over.

Pre-Kinder 1 – 2 to 3 Years

Guided by Australia’s Early Years Learning Framework, “Belonging, Being and Becoming,” our approach to Early Years Education centres on fostering independence, self-help skills, and confidence in our funded three-year-old kindergarten program. This tailored program ensures each child receives the best possible learning experience, preparing them to thrive during their kindergarten years.
Pre-Kinder 2 – 2 to 3 Years
Our qualified educators specialise in Early Childhood Education, supporting this magical phase through play-based learning activities that help your child explore their interests and strengths. Activities include singing to develop language skills, drawing with crayons to encourage self-expression, playing with shapes and patterns to enhance problem-solving abilities, and participating in group activities to build social skills.
At Precious Seeds, our three-year-old kindergarten program focuses on nurturing independence and self-help skills, helping children grow in confidence as they prepare for their kindergarten journey. Kinder – 3 to 4 Years

Kindergarten is where children begin to develop literacy, numeracy, and language skills. They also learn how to interact with others, share, listen, and focus their attention.
Our funded kinder program prioritises building and developing children’s social and emotional skills to prepare them for school. This program provides opportunities for children to explore and express themselves, helping them discover their identity and understand the world around them.
At Precious Seeds Early Learning Centre, we prioritise nutrition by providing children with three meals: morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea, all freshly prepared on-site by our cook. Our multicultural five-week rotating menu is designed to exceed national guidelines for children, incorporating input from families and educators to reflect the children’s preferences.
We emphasise nutritious and balanced meals, sourcing the freshest produce directly from the market. All our meat, fish, and poultry are Australian-grown and supplied by our local Halal-certified butcher. We offer A2 milk and alternatives for children with special dietary requirements.
Our menu encourages a love of healthy, wholesome foods, helping children establish good eating habits from a young age. Our childcare centre features an extensive veggie garden, where children participate in maintaining and harvesting vegetables. Cooking activities utilise both purchased ingredients and produce from our garden, enhancing their learning experience.
Additionally, we provide breakfast and late snacks, with our four-week rotating menu changing each season to keep meals fresh and exciting.

We couldn’t be happier with Precious Seeds. Since our son started here, just in 2 weeks we’ve noticed such an incredible change in him. He comes home every day with a big smile on his face, happy, confident, and excited to tell us about his day. The difference compared to his previous childcare centre is amazing. He wasn’t like this before, and seeing him so settled and thriving means everything to us.The educators are so caring, welcoming, and genuinely invested in the children. They’ve created a safe and nurturing environment where our son feels comfortable, supported, and encouraged to learn and grow. It’s such a relief knowing he’s so happy while we’re at work.<br>We are so grateful to everyone at Precious Seeds for making such a positive impact on our son’s confidence and happiness. Beautiful centre with lovely staff. Our time with the centre was short due to personal circumstances, but very happy with the care provided to our babies while in attendance. Lots of daily updates for an anxious mum was also so appreciated. Management was very flexible and supportive to us.
