I highly recommend Janice's Place. She creates a wonderful, loving environment for learning, play and sleep. She develops programs that are so well thought out, engaging and imaginitive. She also develops the essential routines that kids rely on and helps them with discipline, good manners, social interaction and behavioural regulation.

Janice's Place offers an Early Childhood environment where all children in her care feel safe, respected, valued and loved by her and by each other. Each day upon arrival, the boys were greeted as though they were a member of the family, and they immediately felt safe and excited for the day ahead. With a thoughtfully considered variety of play areas set up for the children, each child's age, interests and needs are met with an extensive range of eco-friendly, quality toys and learning tools, books, and a wonderful backyard for nature play; this was the perfect setting for my boys to engage and to thrive! The children are encouraged to explore and develop their interests and abilities with creativity and encouragement, while developing fine and gross motor skills. Janice always keeps parents updated and aware of their child's keenest interests and progress, with daily reports which include photos of the children's daily activities. With so many years of experience, Janice has clearly mastered the ability to inspire children and instil in them the important early year habits for good hygiene, beautiful manners, respect for others and their environment, mindful behaviour, and positive outlooks. I cannot rate Janice highly enough for the premium care which she provided for my 3 boys (including the challenge of our twins, which she took on with calm, helping them develop individually while being in a safe learning environment together) over the 5 years that they were in her care!

Janice is amazing and loving, she always communicates and is transparent about everything. Janice really made us feel like family. I can not thank her enough for the amazing care that she had provided our son. I felt super safe with my son being here. Our experience is just fantastic. The best family daycare ever.

A girlfriend of mine had her child being looked after by Janice regularly and recommended I consider sending my son to her place too. We had never done family daycare before and I couldn't have been happier. Janice is just like another grandmother to our son and I only wish I had of had my daughter looked after by Janice too. She is the loveliest, most warm, and energetic carer I have ever met, and she has a magical skill of keeping both the quieter kids and the rambunctious ones all occupied and developing at the same time. Janice is a special soul and my son was very happy to have spent his days with Janice. I told her often that we were so lucky to have her looking ofter our littlest and absolutely meant it. Janice has been the kindest, most caring and nurturing caregiver we could ever imagine for our beautiful and sensitive daughter. She has always provided a loving place to grow and learn, and involved us as parents in the days activities with a comprehensive and personal daily update which we look forward to seeing each day. She has been the most positive influence outside of our own family on our daughter and we couldn't be more thankful to her for helping our daughter adjust to child care in such a safe and loving way. She has the patience of a saint! You have given our daughter the best start to her childcare years and we are forever grateful to you for providing her such a lovely home away from home when we are at work.

It has been almost 4 years that our daughter has been cared for, cherished, nurtured, encouraged, educated and loved by Janice. The dedication that Janice has towards all of the children in her care is truly amazing. Everyday we receive communication from Janice with photos and information about what our daughter has been doing that day. This allows me to feel so involved in her day and leads to fun discussions when I get home about all her adventures with Janice. Janice has given our girl the most well rounded and solid foundation for her life ahead. Thank you Janice, you have given her so much.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Janice. My daughter loved her time with Janice so much, we gained in her not only a competent and devoted educator but an extra family member.
