We couldn’t be happier with this daycare centre. The staff are absolutely fantastic and genuinely take the time to build strong, trusting relationships with the children. Many of the educators have been here for years and the staff all work together well and make a great team. The educators are always coming up with engaging and creative activities to keep the kids happy, learning and well occupied, and the outdoor play area has recently been upgraded and is wonderful. My children feel comfortable with multiple staff members, which makes morning drop-offs much easier and really helps with any separation anxiety. The director and admin team are also incredibly supportive and always do their best to accommodate us whenever we need an extra day, which we really appreciate. When I first toured the centre, I wasn’t sure about the idea of a shared playground as at our previous centre, the play spaces were separated by age. But it has been such a positive experience. The shared outdoor space allows my children, who are in different rooms, to see and play with each other during the day. The nursery still has its own dedicated playground. The shared area also means there are always plenty of staff eyes on the children and it helps the older kids learn to be considerate of the younger ones. We feel very lucky to have found such a caring, supportive and well-run centre and would highly recommend it to other local families.

All the staff at Goodstart have been nothing but kind and welcoming as we’ve made the move to Brisbane from Perth. Our daughter started at Goodstart two weeks ago, and like any parents, we were understandably nervous and wanted nothing but the very best for our little girl. Megan and her team have absolutely put us at ease from day one. Their care, warmth and professionalism have been outstanding, and it’s clear how much they genuinely care for the children. Most importantly, Grace loves it which means the world to us.

My daughter started attending Goodstart at the beggining of the year and she absolutely loves it. The teachers are so kind, caring and welcoming. She’s always excited to go each day and comes home sharing everything she’s learnt. Super grateful for the wonderful warm welcoming environment they create. Highly recommend!

My daughter attends Goodstart Dawn Road and we absolutely love it there. The educators are a wonderful blend of caring, patient, and genuinely invested in the children. A handful of the staff have been there for over 20 years, which really shows in the sense of stability, experience, and trust they bring to the centre. We feel incredibly lucky to be part of such a nurturing community.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Dawn Rd! From the very beginning, it was clear that the team here is truly passionate about what they do. The educators have taken the time to really get to know our daughter – her personality, her interests, what makes her light up and what supports she needs when her emotions get big. That kind of attention and care has made all the difference in our daughter feeling safe and cared for. Communication is always clear and thoughtful. We feel so included in her daily experiences, and it's reassuring to know that the staff are always available and open with any updates or questions we might have. The activities are incredibly engaging and age-appropriate – every day brings something new and exciting, and our daughter comes home full of stories and smiles. The spaces are well set up and clearly thought out, encouraging both play and learning in a safe and stimulating environment. Everything has a purpose, and it’s easy to see the intention behind how each day is structured. We also really appreciate how Dawn Rd fosters friendships among the children. It’s heartwarming to see how our daughter has built connections with her peers – learning important social skills and developing a real sense of belonging. Most of all, the joy our daughter feels when she’s there says it all. She’s thriving, happy, and deeply connected to her educators and friends. We’re so grateful to have found a place that feels like an extension of our home, and we truly can’t recommend Goodstart Albany Creek Dawn Road enough!

My kids (3 of them) have attended Dawn Road. The teachers are amazing - they are dedicated and passionate . They only go 1-2 days but feels like they go 5 days a week with the welcome they receive . The playground is being upgraded and the classrooms recently had a make over . The centre always goes the extra mile with activities. The centre has faced many changes in management but is always improving and my kids always come home smiling .

We have had nothing but support, kindness and care with exceptional communication throughout our 10 years with Goodstart Dawn Rd, particularly over the last few years. I am so sad our time here has come to an end as we embark on our youngest child’s school journey! Thank you for everything, we will miss you all ❤️ keep up the great work in centre.

Employee yelled at an innocent child that was crying quite aggressively. This child did not deserve to be treated this way and could have simply been sorted by gentle teaching and supporting. I was on my morning jog when I noticed this, it was a bigger lady whilst another employee was just standing there and watching. Poor kid. Was today between around 6:40ish.
