We have been here for 3 years now and never had a complain. We are very luck we found this kindy, management and all the educators are so good. Highly recommend.

We couldn’t be happier with the care here. This is the 4th daycare we have enrolled at and is superior in every way. Georgia & Ally are across everything, they know all the parents/carers and children by first name. There are longstanding educators which is great for consistency, plus the calibre is fantastic. My daughter adjusted very quickly and is being exposed to all different experiences, under strong, supportive guidance. The community contribution is something we were looking for being new to the area and we have found it in abundance. The little things are the big things when it comes to a child’s care, and they do it all so well.

Such a wonderful centre with caring, experienced, and long-standing staff who create a stable and nurturing environment for our daughter! Plus she comes home with the cutest hairdos, what’s not to love!

After arriving to a totally new country from the UK, finding childcare was both daunting and scary. We really wanted our son to be happy and content after so many life changes. We tried a different childcare settings initially which didn’t work for us. We were recommended this kindi by lots of the parents at my daughter’s school and we are so grateful that we found it. As a parent, all you wish for is that your child is safe, happy and loved. This kindi ticks all the boxes. He is excited to go every single day and I have never seen him happier. We always wanted to find somewhere which felt like family so he felt content whilst his family were at work and school. No child is left upset or not spoken to (something we saw in so many different childcare settings especially if people seemed busy). The time and patience shown is wonderful. Every single staff member is so happy and that speaks volumes for the company itself. The days are structured, your personal home routines are respected, the kindi is immaculate and the children are taught high levels of respect. For us, its perfect. If like I, you have felt nervous about leaving your child in childcare or feel like you are a bit of a nervous parent in general, then look no further.

We’ve had the absolute privilege of being part of this daycare community for over six years. From the nursery to preschool, every stage has been filled with warmth, care, and genuine love. The team here is nothing short of extraordinary. They are passionate educators who treat every child as their own, creating a nurturing environment where little ones feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. Their dedication goes far beyond the basics, they celebrate each milestone, comfort through every wobble, and cheer on every success. What makes DWK truly stand out is the consistency of care and the deep relationships they build with families. We always felt heard, respected, and part of something special. The educators are not just staff, they’re an extension of our family, and we are so grateful for the role they’ve played in shaping our girls into confident, kind, and curious individuals. Leaving was emotional, but we do so with full hearts and lifelong memories. If you’re looking for childcare which blends professionalism with heartfelt care, DWK is the place. Nothing but great things to say about Dee Why kindergarten. We had been at this service for 4 years before relocating to Newcastle. Both my children started at 10 months old and every step of the way I felt reassured and that my children were in the best care. The staff reported everything to me and gave feedback at the end of the day. Everything was professional and above standards. My children fell in love with a lot of the educators there. They were warm, caring and made my children feel safe. The education programs especially for my eldest (5) were incredible! Lastly, the wonderful ladies in the office and Georgia the director are just fabulous. We will miss them very much!

The bond my daughter has with her Dee Why teachers and friends is really endearing.

Nothing but good things to say about DY Kindergarten : ) I moved my son after a bad experience in another kindy and what a difference! Amazing, friendly, professional staff that have been working there for many years. Since starting at DY kindy my son's behaviour improved a lot too and I wish he would have gone there since he was little!

I have been lucky enough to be a part of the DY Kindy community for 6 yrs now from starting my first at 18months till now my third just starting. The centre is warm and inviting and the educators love your children as their own. I honestly can say I would never choose anywhere else and when the day comes that my last child goes to school I know all three have had the best start to their education being at DY Kindy !

Dee Why Kindergarten has been one of the best experience for my child. At such an important and formative time in our children's lives, we are extremely grateful to have educators whom we wholeheartedly trust to care for and nurture our kids in a way which enables them to: feel safe, to grow physically, to develop their emotional skills and resilience, to learn, to play, to develop life skills, to make friends, to create, to explore and inquire, to take care of their world and to engage with important issues around first nations people. They have already contributed so much to their little lives and they are much better human beings because of your contribution.
